Huh- that's very unfortunate with Bandcamp requiring stereo. Because as a sound editor I would rather that my source files were not bounced several times already, and that it would stay mono if that was the original recording. I would like to have control on the stereo conversion if needed. I hope that's something Bandcamp can look at. (it's also a waste of space to have stereoized mono files). Also- don't know if you intended this but when you were editing the file and raising the volume, you were clipping a lot of peaks- do you end up removing them later? I would rather raise the volume using a soft limiter. Audition also has some volume leveling processes that are great for voice or single sound effects, allowing you to raise those instead of the noise floor (speech volume leverler).

Hi Klim! Yes hopefully Bandcamp will change that in the future but the platform is, generally spoken made for musicians and not for sound effects libraries. But yes I would love to upload just mono files because of the reason you mentioned. It keeps the file in the original recorded quality. You are also right about the space. I have to use double the space. About clipping this was just an example for this recording. Yes I remove this but they also don't clip if I take back the gain. These are 32 bit recordings. Its like magic :) Oh and check out match loudness in Audition. Its awesome.

Hi which plugins for adobe audition do you suggest for sound processing when I shoot animals, birds or some effects like echo in water, wood breaking, etc. in the forest, and I see when you open the filters that you have vst, vst and au in order I don't have that and how does it install?
@FreeToUseSounds3 жыл бұрын
Hi Slavko. What a very special question that is. First I don't even know what do you want to do with these sounds? What kind of processing you have in mind? If you have a Mac AU is already installed. In order to install it in Audition just search for how to install plugins in Audition. Lots of videos out there. I also recommend you learning about what AU, VST... actually means.

How to improve the audio quality from file of video are highly compressed? Does oversampling might help to restore missing sound ? Suddenly Un-educated person (my friend) convert audio to AAC-HE then leave bitrate 132Kbps, 48KHz, channel is surround (6 channels mono) and the maks spectrum is 10Khz, Sound is complex including variable kind of music, explotion like a movie. Holy Crapp so much at sibilant consonant and cymbals Aaarrrgghhhh..... TT 😭 !!!. I know impossible to repairing audio but we can improving for make it better than before. The problem is there's no archieve of mastering file and i'am noobs not an expert in terms of audio production. 😢 I'm very appreciated if someone teaches us.

Hi! Yeah this is clearly a question you could ask inside the Facebook group Production & Post-Production Sound for Film/Video facebook.com/groups/2258754158 They can help you with the right answer and can give you a much better help then I can with that question
