Part 12: • Freeway Ricky on Manag...
Part 1: • Freeway Ricky: I'm Ric...
Get Freeway Ricky's Book 'The Untold Autobiography' - amzn.to/38bJF2V
-------------
In this clip, Freeway Ricky opened up about moving out of L.A. after being targeted and harassed by the "Freeway Task Force," a group of at least 50 officers that came together to go after him. He explained that he would rather go to prison in another state for actually doing something rather than being arrested in L.A. for something he didn't do. Freeway Ricky went on to explain how he set up in other states and building up his plugs until he got to Danillo Blandón.

sam jones the Hoovers who protected him were ruthless. Having the backing of the Hoovers muscle allowed him not to be ruthless because folks knew if they messed with him they would have to deal with the Hoovers. His partner Ollie was was a member of 92 Hoovers and nicknamed killer. Also, his cousin whose house he initially based his operation in was the babymother of Tony Stacy a shot caller of 74 Hoovers and his best friend founded the 107 Hoovers. All that say, Freeway was cool, but he was surrounded and protected by hard-core ruthless individuals and gang who had no-problem killing if need be.

A K more than welcome. To your point one things that made Freeway Rick successful was that he had people skills and high emotional intelligence. He got along with everyone even his competitors. He was just about his business. However, he did carry a gun especially when he went to places people didn’t know him. Also, he wore a bullet proof vest and had bodyguards carrying uzis. Even when seemed alone his people were just a phone call away. Even in the Federal prison...the Hoovers protected him. They viewed him as their big homey and told him that they were not going to let anything happen to him.
