Great video, really enjoyed the ride. I have been across both these bridges. Really like your music choice to go along with the video. Thanks for sharing.

My aunt and uncle used to live in Baton Rouge. This brings back a lot of memories because I've gone over that bridge many times! I knew we were almost there we got to the big orange bridge. Even then I could tell it was narrow! It was cool to see a train beside you ever so often also,
@jasonsadventures6414 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the childhood memory! I used to call the Huey P Long bridge "The Orange Bridge" LOL and loved it when we'd cross it instead of the I-10 bridge on our way to visit the family in the Lafayette area.

Wow, that stack interchange in the beginning totally got my attention. I can only assume that stack was built, in anticipation of a more developed freeway plan for the city (i.e. I-410). The Huey P. Long Bridge, what a neat bridge...looks fragile, too!

My wife and I bought a car in New Orleans last month,and we took the time to go through Baton Rouge on US 190! It was cool to actually get to cross the bridge again!.

Crossed the "old" bridge thousands of times, starting as an infant. You can see it being crossed in Richard Pryor's "The Toy"

@FreewayBrent That stack was built in the 70's so it very well could have been built with I-410 in mind. The bridge actually feels pretty solid, although I did not cross it while the train was, that could be a different story.

First off, great ride and enjoyed the music track by Brand New Heavies. Just a lil trivia, there is another Huey O Long Bridge in Jefferson Parish outside of New Orleans. Also the lead singer (N Dea Davenport) in the music track is from New Orleans.
