It truly is amazing, the growth in that area.

Interesting video, I followed it on Google Earth. Peachtree road is a good example of urban strip development. The areas left and right off the road are low-density housing, but with higher density developments directly along the road. I agree the Buckhead skyline looks great. I like this concept of multiple downtowns. That way, not all of metro Atlanta would have to commute to 4 square miles.

I live there for over 10 years on East Paces ferry and I worked in many of the bars and restaurants in the area I got there before the town became huge and I grill with it I'll never forget it it was the best experience of my life and it showed me that everybody can live together everybody grew with it was nothing but fun and joy an mournfully some deaths

i love atlanta and i looooooove the buckhead area of atlanta. its so classy and clean. im in love with the atlanta skyline and its crazy because ive been fascinated with it for so long that now that buckhead has one i feel like im neglecting the atlanta skyline for this one but i love the fact that they've built a city inside of a city. i can go on and on but i just wanted to say i hope they continue the progress in buckhead and conect this skyline with the atlanta skyline. that'll be crazy

Well it does have MARTA in three locations, the one mentioned in the video and one at Lenox Square not to mention Lindberg. The Northeast & North lines meet for the most part over GA-400 in the last part of the video.

Atlanta and Dallas are very similar as far as freeways, scenery and road structure go except Dallas has posts instead of wires to hold their street signs and traffic lights.

keep in mind that Atlanta changed over the last 15 years...and some of changes had to do with making out of towners feel more comfortable down here. We haven't forgot all that I never move to Atlanta talk years back.

Atlanta looks similar to Melbourne, Australia. It's not your typical American city grid pattern. I really like how the streets meander. Atlanta looks very livable.

@patrick560sl: Well I can tell you both the Acura TL and MDX are fun as well as comfortable to drive and I'd highly recommend either. Mine are 2006's so I imagine the newer models are even better. The reason you asked what I drive makes sense, for some it's like...what does it matter?

Wow. This was 10 years ago from today in 2020. A lot has changed skyline wise in Buckhead and along the Peachtree Rd corridor. The infill density has largely increased and hopefully can for years to come.
