Dustin, I'm a big fan of you and your work, and never question your integrity, but this video came across as a pre-scripted advertisement for these filters, and not a true review. That's fine as long as it's presented that way, but it wasn't. Maybe it's just me

Hi James, I appreciate the feedback. I was careful with the language here to call it a "look at them" rather than a review. The reality is that I have reviewed their filters on at least three previous occasions, so (to me at least) I've already done the critical part and this was more a demonstration of what's here with the newest filter system. I used the filters and the filter system for several weeks and found pretty much what I already expected based on past experience.

Greetings Dustin from Australia , did you test these filters out for any colour casting issues at all ? I was looking to get these for my zeiss distagon 15mm which has the 95mm front thread . Any additional information would be greatly appreciated .. thank you once again Dustin for your great informative reviews 🙏🏻

Hi there. That depends. I always find that VNDs have a slight color shift if you rotate them to their maximum (particularly in the 5-9 stop). These Freewell filters are quite good for controlling that, but VND's work by rotating two polarizing layers , so I do find the results a little more inconsistent than a straight ND filter with a set value.

@@DustinAbbottTWI thanks Dustin .. in my past experience using variable ND filters I always had banding issues with them so I don’t use the variable ones and stick with the set grades like .3 and .6 and the 10 stopper plus use the CPL on it’s own mostly . Thanks for your feedback ! 🙏🏻 stay well !

How would you rate it against the polarpro helix magloc, the nisi true color swift and the Kase revolution magnetic ?

I really like PolarPro's quality, and would rate it slightly above either Freewell or Nisi. I haven't reviewed the Kase products.
