@@mcemtpockets1775 yeah I actually bought the eFlight 64 mm twin A10 and it's been hanging on the wall for a year now in anticipation of better flying days and I think I'm there now just haven't had a chance to get around to it but I will do a full video on my maiden of it which I've had that A10 on the channel before but this will be for mine I actually bought a beater A10 just to practice up to it which is more my style I like bitter birds that way I could take some of that edge off cuz they're already crashed but yes this thing definitely gave me the jitters like crazy but the flight went well the first landing was so buttery soft it really was a touch and go but it was my practice to land and it went very well Thanks for watching please subscribe if you haven't

@@dronepilot4life Thanks for watching Thanks for taking the time to drop by and leave a comment I am very surprised that so many people are encouraging on my landings I know that's my weakest point so I work on it a lot I guess I am getting better I feel like I could have softened some of them up a bit more but the bird is safe so that's all that counts as I didn't break anything and I believe those suspension landing gear help out

Good maiden buddy and it came back in one peice here in the uk I won’t be getting mine till after nov 11 from motion eu but im counting down the days and im still a newby myself of 4 years flying and still getting adrenaline rush and shaking legs most flights lol 😂 and I’m the same landings are hard sometimes well quite a few 😂 really im jellious of the space you have in USA here I have to dodge trees and hope it’s not to windy and rain but I watched the guy flying in the rain the other day and it did well but he will have to give it a week drying out indoors I lost a plane and found it six months later it had wind rain and snow plugged in and wouldn’t work but left indoors went back to it after 3 days and it fired up working as good as it was when I lost it lol all the best , G🇬🇧

@@gazza4230 That sounds awesome s I can look at your review when you finally get it in there and then hopefully it's as successful as mine I don't have quite as much under my belt as you I'm about a year and a half at this point but I feel pretty comfortable landing most of the time but I still get those jitters everybody says that it's a new plane jitter you can't get rid of it I noticed that I can't get rid of it of lesser plane than I don't care about much but this might be my most substantial buy to this point I like to buy a lot of you stuff which is less pressure but this one definitely had the pressure on me Thanks for your encouragement look forward to looking at your flight

You need to tune the AS3X gains with SAFE turned off. Apparently, you were in SAFE mode when it was rocking. When you picked it up, the surfaces deflected like it was in SAFE mode. I would turn the SAFE roll gain down to 25 or 20 and raise the SAFE pitch gain to 45 or 50. I usually set the AS3X gains to 30, 40, and 50 percent for roll, pitch, and yaw with the gain sensitivity set to 1X, but with the new AS3X+ firmware, I'm having to set the sensitivity to 0.5X. Also, you might need to set the Stop Lock gains to 100 before setting the AS3X gains. Once the AS3X gains are set, go back and start lowering the Stop Lock gains by 10% each flight.

@@TheRCAviator I'm fairly confident that I already have it worked out I just don't have a fly day for a while as soon as I do I will update It was set to 4x because that is what I standard do in AS3X now with AS3X Plus turning the knob all the way down does not turn S3X all the way off You have to use a switch to do so so I don't really like that I prefer to use the knob when the knob is all the way off in ES3X it's off completely and as you gain it in you roll that knob and very small increments of course in X4 and turn in your AS3X you want well now you cannot turn it completely off with that knob You have to use your switch so soon as I get a fly day I will try that first and then I will start changing the pitch and roll and so forth if that doesn't work but I'm pretty confident about the 4X thing

@@Hype_RC That's the strange part that puzzles me I did have my gains assigned to the knob and even when I turn the game completely off I had the wobble I think it was a windy day and maybe the AS3X couldn't beat it It was way too windy but I was comfortable because it was down the runway (when I turn the knob all the way down it's equivalent to switching AS3X off)

@@Pooley929. Already subscribed.👍🏾. Worse case scenario if nothing changed even with gyro off. (Double check flight modes in forward programming could have left gyro on in all positions ) or worse it can happen if the tail stabs are not in alignment. Hopefully not the case. As3x plus is a bit more sensitive. I fly in wind too but, perhaps your base gains were more than zero or 1x or you can try just switching the 3 position switch to off?… I always maiden without any gyro on. Then once trimmed out I switch on gyro and fly to adjust relative gains, throttle gains and flap or gear based rates and gains. At least on jets.
@Cakey831

Try this for your gains. Roll 14, pitch 18, and yaw 24 with 2x sensitivity. That’s what’s has worked for me.

@@Hype_RC Good thought but before the flight during the pre-flight I verified that the knob turned all AS3X off I will probably just do a complete reprogram of it it's not that big a deal and see if that fixes anything It is also assigned to a third position on the switch to be completely off also without use of the knob so position zero would be safe on S3 axon position 1 S3X only no safe 2 no gyro at all. I think a non windy day will be the best test for this to see if it still does it then I'll just probably just put a new receiver in

This F-22 Raptor 70mm is so good and easy to fly. It is very strong. If you use spectrum AR621 with the safe and As3x ii is very easy to fly. If you want to go crazy just asing a switch to 3 mode. Nothing in moderation 3 and As3x on mode one it help when it is windy and on mode 1 set up As3x and safe. Then if you don’t want to fly on any stabilization mod just turn it off on the switch asing it. It is very good to has As3x and safe when is windy and specially on take off and landing. On my opinion this new technology is very good.
@Pooley929
@Pooley929 16 күн бұрын
@@eliocarballo9113 agreed the new technology is very exciting and cool and yes agreed that this plane is awesome and flies awesome It almost to me flies like the 90 mm and has all the characteristics of it in reference to the reposition switch I have position one with safe mode position two as AS3X only and position 3 as no AS3X no safe, on the AR630 receiver That will work fine in one of these but if you want to have reverse thrust you will need another channel as this does not have a Spektrum speed control in it if you do change it out to inspection speed control then you can go to a six-channel otherwise you will need to go to the eight channel just to make it work. I do have quite a few Spectrum large speed controls that I would do this with and change out my receiver to a six-channel as you stated because they're much more space friendly but I'm not going to molest my brand new bird that I'm excited about I don't have many like most of you guys so I'm going to baby this thing as much as I can and hopefully fingers crossed never crash it

is 90mm better than a 70mm?
@Pooley929
@Pooley929 8 күн бұрын
I'm going to say that that's a highly subjective question that probably doesn't have a good answer on either side however having flown a buddies 90mm quite a few times in very comfortable with it and now owning the 70mm I would say I like the 70mm better and only simply because of its size the 90mm is nice but it just takes up too much real estate, my buddy's plane is all bent up from banging around in this van trying to get it back and forth to the field never had a bad landing just so big that it just gets nicked up mine of course it is still pretty new and I'm babying it as it's my most major purchase of an airplane yet it's still like brand new now but I feel like it's got a better chance at not getting dinged up because it can sit flat without much worry and it's small enough to not take up much space As far as in reference to flying characteristics I would put them very close to the same to be honest with you both have a very flat large panel to glide with and they do so well the landing gear are pretty close in the same the new wing clips are definitely an addition of pleasure for the 70mm versus the 90mm screws cause you don't need any tools to take that out so I would say that gives it a little bit of a edge on the 90mm You can fly the same batteries in both with no issues I have no issues seeing the 70mm but if you do have issues the 90mm may be the way to go of course its bigger lol The Plastic edges are a nice addition on the 70mm The removable nose on the 70mm Battery Hatch is very spacious 70mm hope that helps
