Nice flight. The main goal of a maiden is to bring it home in one piece. Trim it out a little and figure out how to land it before the battery runs down.. 👍

Perfect example of flying the F4 to the ground to land. Great footage. Love the camo and esp the teeth on the nose! I have the same camo in 8s and it scares me every flight as even tho she's only 3kg dry she still flies as if she's heavy. But man what a looker when she passes u. Childhood top 3 fave plane with the Typhoon and F15.

Yeah she certainly is a looker, I need to upgrade that EDF unit, not liking the whiny 9blade outrunner sound, but I think I’m staying 6s. Did you do any upgrades to the elevator servo? Thanks for watching

@naveda08 I didn't upgrade the servo but I did reinforce its position with epoxy and balsa. So far its holding up well but I don't fly it hard more so just scale.

@@naveda08 I replaced my F-4’s elevator servo with a Hitec HS-5245MG and added plywood mounts for it, but didn’t strengthen the pushrod. I bought the ARF Plus version (dumb idea) and installed a 3672-1900Kv inrunner motor with a 9-blade fan. I think that’s what is in my other 90mm jets. I have Freewing’s F/A-18 Hornet, F-104 Starfighter, F-22 Raptor, and T-45 Goshawk V2.

@@txkflier Thanks for the info, was it a drop in or did you have to mod? I was planning on 3d printing an elevator servo support that is up on Thingiverse

@@naveda08 I just cut a recess at each end of the servo and glued in a couple of pieces of wood. I believe the servo is a drop-in replacement. See my Community page. I just put a picture of it there..

Very beautiful Phantom F4. I'm curious as for visibility, do you think this Ghost Grey color scheme shows up better or is easier to see on gloomy cloudy days than the CAMO color scheme here?

I want to get one of these but I want enough power. I see people flying on 8 cells but I rather not go over 6. Does the 6 cell have enough power? Good flight. If you can answer I would appreciate it.

Thanks for watching. The power on this older outrunner EDF is adequate, certainly not overpowered but I never have issues taking off from our grass runway. I believe the newer versions have a stronger EDF unit

Don't really "benefit" that much with extra weight of the 8S. I have both 6S&8S 90mm and notice the extra weight and the extra 45 seconds, which for me is negligible.

Good looking bird!! These things fly really good but with the 9 blade it lacks the mid range thrust and requires about 3/4 to stay airborne. Gotta try a couple different FMS set ups in there to see what works best... Nice flight and 90mm birds are addicting!! You will just be getting more!!
