Freewing F14 Build Update

Greetings KZbin! I am back. I chose to go with the FrSky x20s and SR10 over the windbox X56 system for the time being due to the exponential programming abilities the FrSky system offered. however I will eventually test the Windbox system at a later date on my A10.
To those who wanted to see the Airunit integrated into the Rear Control Panel I hope you like what you see. I was able to further embed the air unit into the Rear control panel giving the Radar Intercept Officer (coming soon) a better field of view.
The aircraft is currently stock. however I will be using the Freewing A10 power system after the maiden and the Servos will be upgraded to the some of the most reliable in the market.

Coming along nicely. I finally got both my spoilers cut in. I'm working on my painting as well. I'm using a S8r and a X8R. You definitely got a lot more going on with yours than mine. I might have to do some update videos on mine as well with my mods. Thanks again for your post on FB with the spoilers.

@@FlightheroRC what parts are you using for the FPV?? I see the pan and tilt system from the one people but what screen and any other parts??? I really want to do this for my freewing F35

My screen is from rcgauges.com it shows altitude airspeed and orientation. They're about 300$ but well worth the investment. The airunit is from DJI, the landing gear position light is a pico switch from robotshop.com

I would upgrade to the 80mm 9 blade inrunners I installed in mine. Looks like you will have a bit more weight due to having the extra electronics. Mine when I go from fpv to line of sight flying you can really see a difference in performance. Also with the extra weight involved I would also look into structure support over the mains and nose gear. I'm not sure how the frame will hold up on a paved runway, but off grass it's pretty much mandatory. Especially with the inrunner motors and fan units. Otherwise, looking forward to the first video! I'd also suggest doing a line of sight test flight like I did with the video recording, so you can get a reference point for landing attitude. Great job so far!

I appreciate the insight! since making this video I have installed the inrunners that come stock on the FW A10. I am currently trying to finish up my undergraduate degree and I live about an hr away from a paved surface big enough to launch and land this jet so I am going to be saving the maiden until I finish school and graduate late this month or early next month. I elected to go with the beefier robart 3.25 tires to help offset the weight of the jet on touchdown. I also had to add a slight amount of weight to the tail since the jet is so nose heavy without it. My plan is to do the maiden in a single seat FPVset up using a gyro to help me get the mechanics of landing this bird down, and then when I eventually add freefall bombs and the RIO system I will be doing another power upgrade to 125-150 amp ESCs and the FMS set up so many guys have already done. I will also be adding a refinish similar to what the RC geek did to his tomcat so and the Landing gear reinforcement mod as well. There is still so much that needs to be done ton bring it to its full glory, but the jet is ready to maiden I just need to find a day where the weather is good and when I dont have work school and my IT internship taking up so much of my time lol. but stay tuned. Like Topgun Maverick It will be worth the wait!

you will have to play around with the supporting strut behind plunger but it shouldn't need any significant modification

does the EMF flux from the ESCs blank out the lower antenna?

I'm not entirely sure how that is going to play out in flight. I did not have any latency issues taxing around but I got the Idea from The RC geek who placed his entire receiver in the same spot my lower antenna is located next to the ESCs.
