@@TomDeWeerdt I got the red version 4S model, suppose to have better ESC and motor. It flies well on 3S, just a little more juice on the launch, its more relax casual flying. I tend to fly it on 3S just to toss it around w some maneuvers and play w the wind. Can sustain easily 12mph. Remove some foam up front and if need be use a rubber band to hold a small weight to the batt so it balance well.

I'm using a Foxeer legend II, small, self powered so ideal to put on a plane. I only use a strip of hobbyking velcro to keep it in place (stuff of legends!)

Stephen Dunne stop cursing lol... No gyro, using the Futaba T18MZ and an R7008SB receiver (which is wayyy too expensive in relation to the plane but it’s what I had...)

I'm still getting used to flying so I think ill use a gyro...sorry for the profundity lol. Is there room for a receiver and gyro or would I be better off to get an admiral with the built in gyro. Soz for all the questions mate

No worries :) There’s not a ton of space so I’d go with the built in gyro, but you really don’t need it, it’s stable af...

My stinger flies very badly. Very unstable in turns. Brutal reactions for a plane not so fast after all. I specify that I am used to piloting racers ... In my opinion, the negative dihedral on the stabilizer is a gross error and makes the plane difficult to control

johnny G slightly up, into the wind, you want to give it a bit of up right after launch during speed-up. Also know that it’s propably going to roll due to torque!

The 4s version like in this video can safely be held on the top just behind the canopy and underhand launched. Full throttle and an underhand gentle launch at any angle to about 45 degrees, it goes up straight every time. Balance the model between 75 and 80mm back, not as the manual suggests. Ailerons 1/4" both ways with 35% expo, full rudder and full elevator travel (30% expo). With mixed throttle I get 4 1/2 minutes flight time down to 3.8v/cell.....👍

@@mikesecondo2254 fair enough! I always take something smaller to the field next to my gassers, kinda fun because that way I get to fly with more people, and not only with the aerobatics guys at our field...
