Freeze Corleone is one of the few French rappers to really have an American rap culture and to mention American rap in his lyrics. I think it's partly because he lived in Canada for a few years. The vast majority of French rappers don't know who Jeezy is. But just as most American rappers don't know who French rappers are, that's normal.
