Take a look to the Crucible Coachworks guys, they're building a '60s inspired supercar i mean for real I mean 1:1 size. This is very interesting because I learned and saved much profanities by making a scale model, in which the focus are the processes, at scale, not the result. I have to say that I hadn't figure out how to reproduce the sheet metal bending, forming, shaping (bc it's not what I do, probably) And it's very interesting to see that one hasn't to own a real scale english wheel and waste tons of expensive materials to get into the process and get an idea of what's the actual thing to do, and learn this craftmanships if one wants. Even with a 6 sqm office, and that's amazing to me!

Like most welders used to build batteries, The "GLITTER 801A" uses two probes. He only seems to use one probe in the video. Edit: i can see @0:33 the other probe in a special housing on which he rests the work. It would be useful to know what metal he uses for the frame.

And to think, it only took him 20 minutes to build both of these!!! Seriously though, I can't imagine how long he took to build each of these great " toys ". The planning alone probably took forever, and, in the Ferrari, we see several false starts where apparently, he was dissatisfied with his first attempts at creating sheet metal. Totally awesome.

I would suggest to put a brushed motor in the 250 GTO. The sound and speed of a brushed motor fits this oldtimer scale model better than a brushless system. The ESC´s made by Castle Creations sound especially modern/futuristic in my opinion...
