Only few mistakes... There was no iron, steel bars in concrete to achieve strong foundation... It will crack for sure. Also between osb and naked wall... There will be problems... Anything else is great. Team work is the best for couple 😊👌👍

yeah... yeah... they do. The couple probably either do not have the experience to do as good as a professional build, or do did not have either the budget or knowledge about putting rebar in. Sadly, that's how it goes sometimes and people learn the hard way where they messed up in the years to come, but hey, they did it as a couple, and made a great garage for the money. Is it going to last 300 years? Nooo... but they probably wont even own the house for 80 years. So whatever, It'll last them for what they need it too.

My son and i with a little help from my daughter built a 25x30 in 2 weeks start to finish oh yeah my son was 8 and my daughter 7 son cut the wood as i told him with a mitersaw and my daughter measured every board

I hope they don’t have earthquakes there because I didn’t see any rebar in the footing and the walls. Should be vertical every 4 foot or less, at openings and corners . Also horizon every 2 foot.

Agree and I saw no brackets on the rafters. The ground should have been compacted with shell rock and the roof if flat can accumulate water and snow, if it snows there.

@@raggamuffin3928 we sure do but we have a full basement that the footings are many feet below the frost line. Even our garage has a four foot frost wall around the perimeter. All foundations and slabs have closed cell foam board insulation

It's great watching these videos but in the world I live in building codes and standards have to be met, it's like when a "TINY" home is is the new best thing until you find out your local municipality has a minimum square footage requirement and your 400 square foot short of code. I really do like these videos but some of these structures aren't even in this country.

У вас слишком все накручено. У нас в России , если строишь сам и для себя, нинужны никакие коды, согласования и прочая чепуха. Отступил от забора метр и строих. Никаких инспекторов. И стоит столетиями. А у вас с вашими нормаи и надзорами, все равно потом летает от цунами и прочего.

vous avez de la chance d avoir une femme qui vous aide dans vos travaux, il y a quelques points technique qui sont pas respecté , par exemple mise hors gel des fondations, pare vapeur pour protèger L OSB , arase étanche en bitume sous la première rangée, , mise en place d un treillis soudé anti fissuration du dallage, je comprend que l on fasse ce que l on paut avec les moyens que l on possède et surtout n y voyez aucunes critiques de ma part , mais , vous avez l essentiel , de la vie , un couple solide , bravo à vous , et toutes mes félicitations vous deux et longue vie paisible , douce à vous deux

Газовая труба над крышей запрещена, и под крышей тоже нельзя, мне пришлось вокруг города её проводить, над воротами, вы эх авыть газовую службу, платить, чтобы переделывали, иначе штраф. 😢
