My mate found a Lavvu in the woods a couple of years ago. It had a big slash down one side of it (classic local yokel way to make an unwanted camper FO). He patched it and some little burn holes with a Burberry bed sheet, added a little trim around the door way. We call it the Chavvu now.

Hats off to you Mate, for getting out last minute to make the most of the snow. The forest looked beautiful. I know what it’s like to get a rough night because of the cold. It just happens sometimes. Great vid Marc ❄️👍

My first visit to Poncho Villa was in March 1985 on my reserve forces recruit course. Doubles the instructors stormed our position and my bivvy was singled out for a thunder flash pyrotechnic. This was followed by many nights spent at Poncho Villa both in the UK 🇬🇧 and Denmark 1988.

I like pine needle tea if you also add in some orange peel and a peppermint candy. I love seeing men drink and enjoy tea. Here in the US, nearly every man I have met won't drink hot tea because they think it isn't manly. They don't know what they are missing.

Hi mate I like you vidios I’m soon to splash out on a stove. Promoly seems to be the go too. What model is yours? How has it been for you? would you prefer something larger? How often do you have to feed it? Sorry I have a 100 questions answer what and if you can be arsed no worries haha safe pal keep it up all the best

Can two persons fit in the lavvu if there is a stove? Me and my friend are really interested in these to take out for our hunting trips but not sure if were able to fit in?
@mdmoutdooradventures11 ай бұрын
No definitely not I wouldn’t recommend it for anything like that especially if it’s a multi day trip . If you don’t have to carry the gear to where you want to set up base camp then I would suggest something that is designed for winter camping and that has plenty of space inside .
