Freezing for Fun - Ice Swimming in New Zealand

We follow three New-Zealand based swimmers as they enter the extreme sport of ice swimming. In temperature of less than 5 degrees Celcius they are competing in the National Ice Swimming Competitions, where they swim distance up to 1km.
To prepare for the event we see them swimming in local lakes and practicing by taking ice baths, all culminating in the competition. This film is also meant to set up their next journey - a trip to Italy for the World Championship 2025, which two of the swimmers have entered.
