Out of the Pool, Into the Wild

Follow the adventures of a group of swimmers as they venture beyond the pool and into open water, or ‘wild’ swimming. In a summer swim challenge called ‘Lake Attack’, hosted by the Southern Lakes Swimming Club in Queenstown, the group attempts to swim all of the named lakes in New Zealand’s South Island - with a little help from newfound swimming connections across the country.
Join them as they clamber into less-than-sanitary bogs, tackle multi-day hikes to remote lakes and even charter a float plane to one of New Zealand’s most remote areas.
