I have been dealing with a wart on my big toe on my right foot for about 3 years I have tried pulling it out I've tried everything I just bought some free spray on Amazon and I'm so happy I found this video I'll have to update you and let you know if it works. Helpful information on how to freeze the wart, but no instruction how to care for the wart after freezing. How often should the process be repeated? How do you know when you've gone far enough, or possibly too far to eliminate the wart?

OK, when I tried to get rid of my skin tags with this technique, the skin tag speculum just dispersed the spray back out the back of the Speculum where I put in the nozzle. After a couple of tries, I just sprayed directly without the Speculum. Looked like it worked. I'm just waiting for the tag to fall off.

Use less force when dispersing the spray into the speculum and that should help. Spray it onto the side of the speculum and let it drip into the skin.

When a wart is frozen in the doctor's office it is typical to have the wart rechecked every two to three weeks.

I’ve tried this product twice now on the same plantar wart. I’ve scraped down the skin very close to the wart, even to where it is bleeding. I let the product sit for 30’secomds or more, and several. applications. I’m using the funnels too. The wart continues to return. What gives? What can I do different? Thanks in advance.

Hello- Thank you for this very informative video demonstration!! I have a question that I hope you can answer without feeling you'd be "responsible" for people doing stupid things! Is it an ok assumption to think that electronics freeze spray (tetrafluoroethane) would result in the same or similar outcome as medical freeze spray (liquid nitrogen)? And on that note, would dry ice being held to the wart also yield similar results as these 2 previously mentioned? thanks :)

Nicky: The Medical Ice product is Difluoroethane. It freezes to -60 degrees in 3 seconds and it dries instantly making it a good product for lesion removals and histology sections. I don't know how or if that could/would differ with tetrafluoroethane. Regarding dry ice - The cold application needs to be directly to the wart and not to the surrounding skin. Dry ice application poses that risk. So therefore I have never considered using dry ice as a cryosurgical application and therefore can't tell you if it would provide similar results.

I would not use this on a keloid without an in person professional medical opinion first. Talk to a dermatologist. You don't want to make the keloid worse.

Usually it resolves on its own. If the wart is large or persistent it may require more than one treatment.

Asking if it is safe can only be determined by your current and/or past medical history. For example some patients require antibiotics even for cryosurgery (freezing). Or what if you have diabetes? You are not spraying it as directed. You can use a skin speculum with a cotton ball inside to stop the dripping. Be sure the straw is in an intact state before inserting it into the can opening.
