The biggest 2 minute file videos are these static demos. Currently showing on a series on @OddonomousDemos .
Static videos are the biggest because there's no way to compress them. Every single frame is 100% unique, anyway.
Static videos are strangely very popular. So why not jump on the band wagon, but I couldn't help but change the band wagon before jumping on it. Each video has a preset hue. If any of the pixels matches the hue then it freezes it. That is until 99% of the screen is filled then the process changes again.
So what is the static image? It's simply when every pixel on every frame is completely random.
What is the static sound. It is actually the same as the image but obviously expressed random for sound. i.e. sine(random) * 32000 which is the maximum amplification.
I changed the sound a little bit as well. Rather than making it random 48 times a millisecond like normal static. I make the noise every 2 milliseconds. I also make the upper limit 2000HZ. Giving it a slightly softer noise.
What is a hue? Well, to be honest I've rewritten what a hue is in our software. Colour is broken down to Hue, Saturation and Lightness/Value. Saturation is how intense/vibrant the colour is, the last part for lightness is how dark/light it is. So white has a saturation of 0% and lightness of 100%.
This leaves hue. Hue is the actual colour, blue, magent, red etc. It normally is represented by 360' in a circular motion. Kind of like the colour spectrums of a rainbow.
I don't, Hue for the software is broken down to 16 colours. Similar to the hue in degrees but I want to group colour better. This goes from red to magenta by determining how much each colour has Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta and if it is all the same this is Hue 0.
