Freiburg (im Breisgau) Germany - Rick Steves' Walk - Black Forest Region - German Traveling

This beautiful walk follows Rick Steves' city walk route for Freiburg (im Breisgau), Germany as laid out in his 2024 Germany Travel Guide. We do not give you the information that Rick Steves' gives in his guide book, but we recorded walking the route. The walk starts at the Rauthousplatz and proceeds through the city, inlcuding views of the Münster and
Münsterplatz, the upscale and gorgeous Konviktstraße, and even the Swabian Gate. Freiburg is known as a college town and has been off the radar of travelers from outside of Germany. That is starting to change, but the city isn't flooded with tourists. If you are touring multiple places in south western Germany, eastern France, or northern Switzerland, Freiburg makes an amazing top spot to be able to chill out and relax in a less touristy city.
