GOOOOOD TIP on the different impeller. I'm about to tackle this. I wouldn't have put the new style on, without spending time calling Cummins to see if it would fit which would have taken a couple of hours I'm sure. BTW, I know Snap-On is king, there's nothing better yada yada but a Pittsburg 1/2" and 3/8" drive ratchet would cost about $30 combined at HF and I've not broken either one yet. just a suggestion. Great video!

Hello, Pedro Fuentes. I have a 2018 international with a cummins x15 engine. Did you have to replace the water pump housing or just the water pump?

@@xrebirthx4393 the ISX or X15 have a different set up. If the water pump has not been updated you might have to replace the entire thing as a complete assembly. Check with Cummins by using your engine serial number. You might be able to just replace the front part of the water pump. The blade on the back will determine if it is interchangeable

The pipe that conjoins the water pump to the egr cooler will come out without removing the water pump and/or housing. Just have to slide it all the way forward/into the pump housing so that it comes all the way out of the cooler, then pull out, toward the steer tire. It’ll come out.

Yesss I have finally discovered an all Cummins channel!!! Can you do a video on which oil brands is the best for Cummins isx... Delo, Rotella, Valvoline, Schaffers, amsoil VS each other and temp test also... Not even on video on the tube showing support for heavy diesel motors only pick up trucks

Thanks a lot The updated impella sucks, no fit into original housing. Because Cummins stopped selling original set but only updated with bigger impalla that does not fit in original housing.

No you don’t all the time . The one I did was the old model and Cummins sales the update water pump . The update water pump won’t fix in the old housing just remove and match up.

Mine is leaking coolant at the bottom of the water pump. Do i have to replace the whole thing or just the orings ?

Depends is it leaking from the Weep of the water pump or the or the outer seal.if otter seal leak just the seal.

I just installed on water pump assembly today using this video and no issues. No paint needed.

Just my opinion go ahead and paint that sh!t I do a few per month I have one that wasn’t painted and I’m having to used a sledge hammer to get the old pump out of the mount it sucks
