The symptoms of the fault are:
Check engine light on
Amber emission light on
Red light on (if regen zone 5 is present)
Regeneration light on
Regeneration no able to be completed
Throttle no responding
Soot level high
Engine Unstable during regeneration
Tools used
13 mm socket
1/2 inch socket
Flat screwdriver

Nice videos man, very informative. Quick question, I had to have a coolant hose replaced in my truck, Freightliner DD13. I believe the mechanic took off the intake hose system to get to this hose. He put the hose on and reattached the intake hose. Now, my dashboard has Check Engine and Maintenance lights displayed, throwing codes SPN 51 and SPN 3464. Maybe he accidentally tampered with a sensor and not knowing it. What do you think it may be?

Could be a defective valve but also can be the harness.

My 2013 cascadia needs a new overflow tank. The two bolts that hold it to the top of the radiator are rivnuts and are rusted solid. Would love to see a video on how to remove the rivnuts .

It will have problem with the parked regen. Nothing else. It can past long as long you don't idle to long.

I changed the valve but I have the same code... I do have a rough idle also.. going from 1600rpm dropping to 1500rpms then back to 1600... and i can smell diesel when it happens and after i drive finish driving... do you think the Fuel compensation aka Fuel meter aka Quantity Control Valve could be causing this code and a rough idle? Hi Francisco I own a 2016 cascadia 2016 10 speed manual transmission unit. While bobtailing on a highway I noticed that I wasn't able to throttle to upshift to the 9th gear. When I pushed the gas pedal the unit was not speeding. Rpm was between 13 to 14. After about 10 minutes it all came back to normal. I was able to speed up and upshift or downshift. Shortly after reaching my company yard the regen light came on the dash. Steady light not blinking. engine light is not on. What could be the issue? I do not know whether it would reoccur while on highway again. Please advise.

No, the throttle valve mechanism is the one that goes bad.

Also my friend , I have 2 codes in my truck that i need your help on it , 1st: motor2 001 spn00110 temprefrigmoto 00 , and the other one eec 061 spn 003556 aftrtrmt inj 18, I guess this one is the one that goes in the exhaust behind the turbo, I check the hole but is not clogged up, what's your thought on this , thank you man, recently I replace the ac compressor and mine had a little sensor on the back and the new one doesn't, they say the manufacturer get rid of it
