Nice, compact motor home👍 a little pricey. If I was living in it full time, sure. Working from and on the move!😂 If not, way too big. As the comments say, it’s cutting down on What and where you can transport.

It amazes me that so many of these tractors nowadays are automatics. Don’t know if they are equipped with Jake brake systems, but that frightens me as a truck driver or at least in my younger years.
@W900Kamikaze5 ай бұрын
Yes they do have 3 stages Jake-Brake on Automatic transmission.
@NHRA_JEEP2 ай бұрын
I've been driving rigs over 20 years. I definitely prefer a manual. The newer automatics have definitely gotten more refined. Especially in reverse. Just put it in reverse. Let it idle back. The older automatics were horrible! Put it in reverse. It wouldn't move. Then u tap the throttle. They would fling u back so fast.
@ace1usmcАй бұрын
Trucks haven't had a Jacob's Brake (Jake Brake) since the C-15 went out of production back in 2010. All modern common-rail heavy haul OTR engines utilize engine exhaust braking via VGT's now. They work pretty good at holding the truck back. Almost none of the OTR trucks have automatics. They typically have automated manuals behind the engines. These are 100% manual transmissions with computer-controlled clutch and shifter components that do all the work. True automatics like the Allison 4000 utilize an actual torque converter and planetary gearsets, and are rarely found in commercial trucks other than some construction vehicles like cement mixers.

The sleeper is awesome. However, as long as that tractor is, it has to be really fun and tight spots trying to back it in to type places. I hope it’s the runs. They do is not crazy places I have to back the trailer into. That’s really tight. But as a team has a wife would be awesome, but like I said, someone better be really really good at backing into tight spots.

These giant sleepers are called CONDOs by the truckers. It has been my experience you will find these with a husband & wife team. Sometimes too you may find a little kid or 2 as well. A lady needs more than a regular sleeper & a truckstop for her life. !

If I'm spending this kinda of cash on this rig. It'd be peterbilt or kenworth. A premium truck. Compared to that freightliner. Freightliner really has refined their trucks. It's still not as nice as a paccar truck
