Freightliner Gets A NEW Windshield & New Door Panels! + ADDING CHROME GUAGE VISORS

Well guys I had to get the windshield replaced so I didn’t have an issue with DOT & Also we finally get our door panels in from SMS Headliners our guy Steve Killed it ! They look awesome and we also went to a chrome shop and put new chrome gauge visors on! Hope y’all enjoy if your not SUBSCRIBED hit that button & LIKE the video!

You might have to get the cluster that is made for peterbuilt dash they are a little narrow for the three gauges together .

Those door panels are going to really pull the truck together in the cab area. Finish the dash nobs and lights and man oh man. Its coming together bro. Love watching your videos and seeing the process of the truck and of just day to day of you dude. Maybe talk alittle more about rates and stuff would be cool. You definitely need more video uploads. Hey as far as the hazmat placard’s if you can get your hands on the wire coat hanger‘s they were great all you do is grab the hanger part grab the middle of the wire stretch it out and then shove it down in there and it forms the diamond around your placard it’ll hold it in that’s what we do here Old Dominion Freight Line

I had the same problem with my covers on my gauges.. So I sanded the middles down enough where they all fit.. It's not hard to do at all.. And if you do it right, you won't be able too see it by just looking at it.. And they did fall off at time's.. Not just the one's I sanded down but a few of them.. I just took a little bit of superglue and stuck on them.. Never had the problem since.. And you can still take them off if you had to..

I got one of those “forever sharp” steering wheels for the western Star I’m building. It turned out to be junk. The chrome chipped easily after only a few months. And the chrome is soft in general. It scratches easily. When I called about a warranty a few months after I got it, they said they would look into it then never responded. Finally they responded and kept saying they were not receiving the pictures. And of course they avoided responding again. Finally got a hold of someone and they said it’s not their fault the chrome is flaking off.

Some clear packing tape works well on those placards. A strip or two over them, and you're good.

Compare your old dash panel, with the new ones and see if the gauge placement is different, and that might be why those visor trim rings won't fit. Just a guess. Love how the interior is materializing.
