Part 1 covered riding south towards Fremantle and discovering that riding over the Fremantle traffic bridge in the car lane is uncomfortable and dangerous - particularly when the outside lane is closed to traffic. However, I did find a map of the detour at the end of that experience - even though someone had done their best to hide it from everyone that needs to use it.
In part 2, I'm riding north - freshly armed with information from the "hidden" map on where I should be going. The map told me that I should be riding along Canning Highway (on the footpath) until I got to Stirling Highway, and then riding across the Stirling Highway bridge (on the pedestrian/cycle path).
There was just one problem - none of the signage matched the map. Someone has completely failed to set this latest detour up properly.
