Thank you so much mam, I am 14 years old Sri lankan student learning French for my languages subject for next year and I didn't knew to pronounce french alphabet. But I am learned to pronounce french alphabet correctly from this video. But I can't pronounce properly French "y" 😕. thank you so much for this video.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Amazing instruction! This is BY FAR the BEST lesson on the alphabet I've EVER seen. It's organized, clear, methodical, and very helpful. As an American learning French and living in France, I needed exactly this to clarify my pronunciation. Thank you

Teacher please 👆what about the hard sound of c in the sac? What is the rule here? It is not followed by "a "instead it is behind the "a" . So Why it is a hard sound ? Thanks

Interesting how similar the french alphabet-sounds are to the swedish. I think the big difference is the french "E" as it's basically like the swedish short "Ö"

I am a French instructor myself. I think this is good but would avoid saying things like "This is difficult/hard for English speakers." I feel this plants seeds of doubt in the learner's mind. I try to avoid saying that and instead say something like, "This is new/different for you, but you can do it."
@BlaBlaKaity3 жыл бұрын
Salut fellow French instructor! When I say something is “difficult/hard,” it’s often coming from the idea that the sound or concept in question is “new/different,” so I appreciate this reframing.

Hello! I have a question. So I am relearning French. So I thought oh I could better teach myself French by learning the letter sounds and then sound out the word according to French sounds. But that is a horrible way to learn because you cannot sound out every single word in French. And neither can you do that in English. So would you agree that in French you cannot sound out each letter in words? Thanks for your help!!

You have a noticeable English accent speaking French, and you're not pronouncing the letters correctly. Your D should be /de/, not /dɛ/.
