The R22ndR was the brother regiment of my french regiment (5th RI - called Navarre, created in 1494 and retired from the active service in 1997 after 503 years of existence). The motto of the R22ndR is "Je me souviens" as it is for Québec ;)

@@chalkwizard1292 May I remind you that there is ABSOLUTELY NO LINK between these soldiers and De Gaulle. What do you intend to mean ? Are you another ignorant anglophone who knows nothing about non anglophone people.

@@vincentlefebvre9255 no, I am saying that DeGaulle would be shocked by Quebecois who are loyal and serve the King and Country.

Did this happen in 1940 or later?

I presume that happened later, as it is said in the video that they haven't seen that since the Normandie.

Likely during ww2 due to how they're dressed in normal military clothing

There were 6 Frenchmen from France that were sent to Buckingham Palace in 1940 and they stayed for a photo then left and went to Paris France. They were never Canadians. There were no Canadians involved in the War in 1942. The Canadians freeing Holland is Propaganda. There were no Soldiers involved. The 3 American Soldiers on July 4 1944 were with Me Natalie Helferty The Holy Grail aged 7 time travelling. They shot 7 German Clones as Gestapo in Berlin and I called Armistice to Germany to End World War Two. That was the End of the War. Mussolini had set up the Japan Bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and God detonated them as HBombs instead of Atomic Bombs to blow up a water bomb instead. America was blamed by the Propaganda Machine for Britain. Mussolini was actally British. There are no real Italians as they were made up by Mussolini. The British Monarchy is Pretenders and doing the Propaganda and a War Mongering but blaming others.
