Thank you so much for your comment! 😊 Here's a little confession: the first time I stopped in Biarritz was years ago, after finishing a LEGGETT shoot in the stunning nearby Pyrenees. I decided to take a detour since I had never been to this city, even though, like any French person, I was familiar with its name due to its renowned history and reputation. And I was not disappointed! 🤩 What a shock-the beauty of the architecture, the cleanliness, the breathtaking landscapes, the vastness of the ocean and the natural elements you can feel everywhere, the calm and serenity of the people, the luxury of the boutiques, the quality of the restaurants. It's simple: I immediately booked my next vacation to come back with my family. Since then, I've explored much of the Basque Country multiple times-Espelette, Cambo-les-Bains, St. Jean Pied de Port, Bidart, St. Jean de Luz, Hendaye-and whether it's winter or summer, it's always stunning. 🌞 This part of Southwest France is just a 3-hour drive from Dordogne, where I live, and I seize every opportunity to spend a weekend, birthday, or Christmas there with my partner. We love it! ❤️ And yes, I even visited on August 15th, during peak season. Sure, there were crowds, but it never felt overwhelming. I didn't encounter any traffic jams, parking was easy, and I found some excellent restaurants. The beaches are so vast that you can walk along the sand for hours, and there's always a great spot available. La Plage des Basques was voted the most beautiful beach in France for a reason. 🏖️ Joanna LEGGETT and I stayed for 4 days to film some stunning properties we have for sale around the city, and this little film was purely improvised without a script-just our passion for sharing our love for France and its treasures. Biarritz is certainly one of the best examples.
