French Connection: Jean de Villiers and Schalk Burger compete in a braai-off in Toulon

After their chaotic experience of trying to order all the food from the boucherie, it's time for Springbok legends Schalk Burger and Jean de Villiers to sqaure off in a braai battle, except we covered all the spice bottles so they had no idea what they were working with! Bryan Habana and Matthew Pearce make a cameo when it comes to judging the dishes so make sure you watch all the way to the end.

You'll see some of the comments not agreeing that this is a braai, because it's done on a gas flat top 😅 On September 24th is South African Heritage Day, dubbed "Braai Day", that's how important our braai is to us 😊

I live in France. Love the country, but unless you get your steaks cut for you to the thickness you want and you make your own boerewors you can't have a braai here. They know how to "butcher" meat. Steaks are paper thin, they're cardboard before they have some colour.

Guys thats not a braai its a dissapointment.....its definately not manly .no braai braai sout nothing or six gun grill.Gas braai is not a braai guys and no braai broodtjies either is a shocker.....and all that olive oil on a steak and chop is disgusting fir sure .u dont need to put olive oil on your steak or chops when braaing on either a wood fire or gas braai.
