Great French makeup look. I'm French (and a parisienne) so I can confirm this is the type of makeup a parisienne would wear to go out. (with less product even, like no eye shadow, no bronzer and not that much concealer+foundation). But to be honest, french women don't put a lot of makeup on (and are in general not good at makeup either - because not enough practice since they don't wear it often), so when they go out they always wear a red lipstick, because you don't need to be good at makeup to apply lipstick lol

Yeah the French style of makeup is very different. My mother is French (I'm half French half moroccan) but I was born and raised in the UK. As a result we have very different attitudes to makeup. My mother is the most low maintenance woman I know and says she hates the feeling of makeup on her skin, eyes etc and even claims to feel nail polish on her nails lol. And my grandmother never wore makeup, not even for her wedding day lol, though she is 96 so there probably wasn't that much available at that time anyway. I love to experiment with makeup, bright colours etc. My mother said I was always fascinated with it since I was 6 years old and my Moroccan aunties let me play with all the makeup they had, which was far more than my mother ever had. She has only ever owned a red lipstick, a concealer for her under eyes (she never had horrible acne to cover up like me lol) and a kohl pencil.

This is lovely, but true french girl makeup would be all about the soft natural skin (concealer only or tinted moisturizer), and the red lip. Eyes would be natural, often even left completely bare. Also, "currant" is pronounced "KUHR-INT" and "Jeanne" is pronounced "JAH-NN". xx

Extremely Amazing. But can you please give me a little tip or advice regarding hair colour? My hair colour is jet black and I've never coloured my hair so if I want to colour my hair Burgundy or copper Red or any of the brown shades which would require bleaching? And since I don't want them to be permanent what can I do to keep my hair from getting damaged from bleaching and HAIR COLOUR? On last note I'm tan skin with warm Undertone so can you please tell me which shade of Burgundy or Red or Brown will suit me well? Almost like your skin colour I've.

i'm no dacey but i've had hair from white to pink to ginger to brown and also have black hair and tan skin. i just wanted to say that you can get your virgin hair to lift maybe 1-2 levels (meaning shades) lighter. a hi-lift color can probably get you 3 or so levels. from black to brown would be easiest. it depends on porosity, so i would definitely test a strand. my hair is curly but porous and lightens super fast and almost too easily but some people have hair that wont lighten quickly. the only thing is anytime you are going lighter and taking pigment out of your hair it will be basically permanent. going darker with a semi or a fashion color is the only thing that is truly not permanent. if you have a warm undertone go for warmer colors so if you are doing a burgundy make sure its not super purple cuz itll look too cool. caramel / golden browns are gonna look better than a cooler / espresso on you as well. as for the red -- an orangey red (which again will look better than anything leaning cool) will probably require bleaching if your hair is black, andreaschoice had a good video on her red hair but idk how dramatic you'd want it to be. also id recommend schwarzkopf blondme if you are gonna bleach with a cool additive and then you can use olaplex / coconut oil or their bonding masks to keep it healthy.

@@arunimasaha4171 You really can't achieve either of these colors without using something permanent, although I know you mentioned that you don't want the color to be permanent. Unfortunately, when you have naturally black hair you really need to bump the base by lightening the hair to get other colors. I think the most flattering shades of brown are golden or chocolate! I would use a high lift developer with the color, like a level 30! x
