I have been doing the same thing. When I was trying to cover everything from redness to pimples to hyperpigmentation to dark under-eyes, it makes me go crazy and have anxiety when everything looks cakey especially in the straight lights you can see the ugly texture of all that covered up. I also hate how people downplay your hard work making these contents by saying you already have great skin. I see that you don’t. I see that you have skin problems just like everyone else. You have eczema patches. You do get pimples from times to times. You have dry patches like myself. These problems take a lot of work to try to find the perfect skin prep and makeup too! Thank you for sharing tips and tricks. Love you!

I love this makeup look girl! Lately, I’ve started mixing my foundation with my Obagi moisturizer too and I love it! I’ve been trying to perfect the most natural and hydrating skin look and I’m totally gonna try this method of just lessening the amount of foundation I mix in. I know you have done a no foundation makeup already. But it would be interesting to see how to elevate an almost no-base look into a glam/event makeup. I have oily skin and seriously hate the feeling of foundation on the face. It would really help if I can find a way to look "glam" with makeup lasting all night (again I have oily skin) without using foundation but not going overboard with the concealer. You're one of the few I really follow because I really like your techniques. I learn a lot.

Amanda Dawn Wollsch her channel has grown a lot in the last 2/3 years, but I totally agree! She deserves a million subscribers more than anyone. Her content is quality, consistent and realistic. Saher tarte cc corrector is my hg!! It’s so so good, makes me use less concealer (which creates a more natural look) and a little goes a long way!! I feel your struggle haha dark under eyes are the worst!

I'm not the BIGGEST fan of color correcting but I think that if it works for you - that's the only thing that matters! I would personally suggested an under eye brightener like the one from Ohiii Wake Up Pen bit.ly/2OVVQuD or Smashbox Under Eye Brightener bit.ly/2ZoNOzO And then using a full coverage concealer, that gives you maximum coverage without having to use a lot of product. Tarte Shape Tape is a great super full coverage concealer, Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer, Marc Jacobs Accomplice, or even the Cle De Peau! x
