Why would you keep the false glass ceiling? It would look heaps better without it. The original cornice is beautiful. Cheers from NSW

@@jefftate1981 Many reasons actually, mostly because it’s so costly to remove or replace. And then you have the problem of redecorating the area above. That’s a project for the future when we afford it.

Pour de nombreuses raisons, mais surtout parce qu'il est très coûteux de l'enlever ou de le remplacer. Et puis il y a le problème de la redécoration de l'espace au-dessus. C'est un projet pour l'avenir, lorsque nous en aurons les moyens.

Bon courage les amis. Moi aussi j’ai une vieille maison….je connais les mauvaises surprises et le budjet suit rarement pour y remédier rapidement !!
