France goes through this process every election cycle: apathetic, dissatisfied voters stay home, the far right win votes in first round, france panics and the apathetic come back out to vote against racism. Twenty years living in france. It's the same old every time and is the reason they don't get the governance they want - because they always end up having to vote against racism in the last round instead of having - and deciding upon - good choices. Yes, Macron can wait a while - it's the summer holidays. Nothing interrupts the holidays. Or they sneak stuff in while everyone is looking in the other direction.
