Very good video. Very instructive. It taught me a way to take advantage of the French bonuses at the start of the game, like going for plains tiles to build a granary early and grow the city drastically in a short amount of time, therefore increasing culture and the number of great people that appear. Well done, Mania.

@calebharrower9215 if you have plenty of population then you don't need production tiles.

Interesting video, but you did not demonstrate that your strategy does or does not work

Ok right dude, this strategy is absolutely dreadful. Like what did you think going into this i really dont understand, you completely ignored the french's ability to win the race to masonry and get a free wall around paris, you didnt expand until long after 1000AD which is honestoy ridiculous. Your technology was so dreadful throuought the game, resulting in you getting feudalism in 1400AD, many other strategies can get combusion before 1200AD and if someone playing like that was in this game they would've obliderated you. You even went agead and included best strategy in the title and i genuinely believe my pet hedgehog neill could do a better job than this, this is a very bad strategy with a ridiculous number of flaws, -You should've settled much sooner -You should've got the 100 gold settler -You should've expanded your territory and built more cities -you could've taken the aztec capital with ease given that it's built next to two hill tiles -you should've actually tried to get science -you shouldnt've ended the second part at 1400AD -you should've actually done a bit of research before posting this video and checked if the strategy was even above average (which it's not) -your technology was dreadful and you did not make up for it economically or militaristically Honestly you just need to work on expansion, almost all of yout problems can be traced back to that. Also, in this game science is just the easiest way to win, just rush for combustion and get tanks flowing, you wanna aim to have them before 1200AD ideally snd it can be done consistently if you expand more and actually advance your technology, democracy's handy as it adds a further 50% to trade and as you play very peacefully the no war policy wouldn't hurt you. Please don't call another strategy like this the best Ta x -Big ol' Raja II
