It's like comparing apples to oranges. They both make their own style of coffee. Which one is better is personal preference.

I have both and switch back and forth. Since I pour boiling water into the Moka Pot anyway, each method takes about the same amount of time. As for flavor, the French Press wins out over the Moka by a hair. Coffee from the French Press is just a bit smoother and more balanced in the mouth, IMO. The Moka Pot brew has more 'edge', but some mornings that's what I'm in the mood for.

From experience, moka pot doesn't make great coffee for black coffee but good for milk drinks.

For one person, do you use 1 cup moka pot or a 3 cup moka pot? The one cup version looks extremely tiny in pictures.

I use 3 cups moka pot for 2 cups of coffee. the 3 cups mokapot creates +- 95 ml of extracted coffee.

Brewing in a French press is the same as brewing in a cup, only in the first option, the grounds are separated from the coffee, and in the second with the grounds. A French press is good for churning milk.

That is how we say it in Portugal for Example, i never understood why people say it like nineteen hundred and thirty doesn't make any sense, why talk in hundreds when the number is in the thousands, 1930 just say it as it is, 1 thousand 9 hundred and thirty.
