I've been using Aleppo soap, and then rosewater morning and night, with a nice olive oil massage at night. Retinol 3 x a week. I got fed up with trying to decipher the long list of ingredients in skin products.

@@Chahlie oh I forgot to write the Aleppo soap, it does wonders for any type of skin. My friend used to have bad acne I gave her a bar of Aleppo soap and now her skin is acne free! Yet it might be somewhat drying for some people but like you're doing with the olive oil will definitely help. I wish more people knew more about this amazing soap and it's super inexpensive!! What brand of retinol are you using? I was using one and I started breaking out with some strange rash around my nose I immediately stopped using it and now my skin is back to normal. I need to find another good brand because I know the benefits of retinol are good.

I am nearly 50 so I really respect my skin. It hates synthetic fragrances so I use pure aloe vera gel followed by 100% hyaluronic acid. I am outside in the souther US all year so in the morning serious mineral sunscreen daily. I love your attitude toward beauty and fashion. You are a lovely reminder how fun it is to be feminine.

I’ve used oil cleansing for several years now and make my own oil with olive, castor, coconut, and almond oil. Usually I add some French green clay, beeswax, and essential oils too. My teenagers use it and it’s helped their skin so much! Thanks for another great video!

My secret product is cotton driving gloves from Amazon (Summer Women Dots Sun Uv Protection Gloves Cotton Lace Anti-skid Driving Gloves). I wear the short ones in the winter because I’m already wearing long sleeves and the long one in the summer when I’m wearing short sleeves. And they have them with or without finger tips too!

Hi frederique, great video as always. I also love the Estée Lauder advance night repair. One important fact when using all these creams and serums is the order they go in. Thinnest (clearest) to thickest. I worked as an aesthetician for years so order is critical for the products to properly absorb into the skin. 1. Water based. 2. Anyhydrous 3. Oils 4. Emulsions (face cream) 5. Suspensions (vit c products). You are beautiful and you radiate happiness. Also, delicate serums and vit C should be ‘patted’ into skin, not rubbed. 🙂😘

I started using argon oil and it is truly wonderful for my skin. My skin does tend to be oily but this oil has helped even out my skins oily/dry zones. Love your beautiful smile and lighthearted laughter in all of your videos!!

Fréderiquè, you look fabulous,…..you do not need makeup. My favorite product for my skin is Argan oil with Frankincense….by a natural skin care brand called Evan Healy…..my skin loves it along with a simple creamy cleanser by the same brand. I have a few serums by a company called Odacité out of California, owned by a French woman from Paris…also one of those clean brands….She modeled her products after French pharmacy minus fragrance and chemicals… 🙂

I love French skincare products !! As an Asian i have naturally beautiful skin and i do a monthly derma visit . My maintenance is carbon laser and alternate it with diamond peel and monthly facial cleaning . I use a toner, eyecream, vit c serum and sunblock gel. Love Lancome and Clarins since i was 20.

Hello Frédérique!!! Loved the video. Your skin looks amazing, do continue with what you are doing, it is most definitely working. I love Esteé Lauder´s products, I use the Advance Night Repair Serum and sometimes de cream, but it´s a little too much for my skin. I have never tried de L´Oreal serum, is it good? I do recommend the double cleansing routine, first a cleansing balm to remove make up, oil, sweat, whatever; and then foam or gel cleanser. It does work.

Yes argan oil is fantastic to my dry skin too. I like to add two drops in my day cream of Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster : it’s without parfume. I will try the Esthée Lauder cream for matures skins Tank you for all your good advices Excuse my english I speak French from Montréal 🦋

I am prone to chin breakouts, probably due to age 50+ hormones and wearing makeup under a mask, and although I get dry around the eyes and nose areas, anything too oily just causes an immediate breakout. So I tried Creightons Salicylic Acid Foaming Clay Cleanser, and it has been amazing. I’m getting fewer problems and the ones that happen seem to clear up much faster. I think the cleanser is selling on Amazon for £1.99 Great price.

The ordinary has a beautiful oil that I just discovered & fell in love. It's 100% cold press Chia seed oil. Omg...it's a fantastic oil. It helps for any dry skin issues, eczema (I use for my son). If my skin is irritated,I use chia seed oil & it calms it right away. Truly a beautiful oil😊

HI! I'm going to look into some of these products. I have normal/dry skin late 40's. I try to keep it simple as well. In the Morning I do not cleanse just cool water then pat dry! I double cleanse at Night w/a balm first then La Roche gentle cleanser (La.Ro.posey on amazon USA frederique!!). At night instead of moisturizer I end w/marula oil. love it! AM: vit c, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer. sunscreen PM: Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid serum, Marula oil once a wk: gentle exfoliant & a mask. my favorite mask is from " I'm From Honey mask" Amazon you should try it, will last a long time. great vid!!! xoxox

The ordinary vitamin C 30% at night . It’s strong but very effective at removing impurities in pores ( so it deeply Cleans ) but also renews surface cells rapidly. It really works ! I use I tube twice per year .

I totally agree that looking after your skin is worth it. At 50, a lifetime of eating healthily and protecting from the sun has really paid off. I have recently been using products from the French brand Gallinée, which are lovely and gentle with probiotics and lactic acid. I also love La Roche‐Posay, Lancôme and The Ordinary Retinol, which is excellent and very good value. I love my Nuface mini, too. You're skin looks radiant, you can tell you look after it well.

I like Clarins and started using it again after a while using other lines...I started my skin care routine at age 18 when we were in Europe and I had some issues w a breakout. We were in Italy and the Italian woman my parents did business with introduced good skin care to me. SADLY though Clarins isn't like it used to be...I fill in w Beauty Succes and L'Oréal/Lancome. I make my own oil w essential oils and vit E. I also use Vichy Brume before i apply any serum, moisture or oil. NIVEA BB crème is super and replaces a heavy foundation and looks fresh w SPF 20...anything more that I've read is redundant...

I use Declare products which are great for my sensitive skin. Moisturiser and eye cream in the morning and a serum at night. I tend not to use too many products because my skin prefers it that way. I also use the La Roche-Posay Lipikar lait Urea for my body as my skin is very dry and thirsty.

Try Timeless Vit C You need a L ascorbid acid. Most C are not the above and are not active. Timeless lasts for 3 months in a dark container with a pump. Like water. Must be very cautious spending money on Vit C as it is very unstable.

I am currently using Drmtlgy products, serums and night cream with peptides that is the best ever. I also like Beverly Hills MD products. Two plastic surgeons with their own line. No perfumes, exfoliating product and facial mask and moisturizer all are great. You are taking incredible care of your skin and it shows!

When it’s winter (cause old houses, lots of gaps and cold) I use nivea q10 and argon oil to stop chapping and dry skin. Also all year round Estée Lauder advanced eye cream - that stuff is amazing 😍

In the morning I use a cleanser with salicilic acid to lower the pH of the skin, Vitamin C +ferulic acid (wich enters better in the skin because of the low pH) . After this I just put on the spf 50. In the evening I clean my face, I put on my 0.05 tretinoin and after 10 minutes a moisturizer with glycerin and niacinamide ( usually la Roche posay or Bioderma). And once a week I use the ordinary BHA+AHA. That is all.

Great video Frederique-thank you! Something everyone should check is the sunscreen products they are currently using. Look for any ingredient that has BENZ-something listed. This is benzene and sunscreen makers are pulling their products containing this ingredient from the shelves. Research is finding a link between benzene and leukemia. I have changed all my sunscreen products.

No matter what I use, sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! I use sunscreen whether it’s sunny, snowing or raining, no matter what the weather. I’m elderly and still gets lots of compliments on my skin. Oh yes, also hydrate and sleep. It works for me.

Hi so lovely to see you again it’s been a while since I’ve seen your videos I miss you. I’m excited to try some of the products that you recommend as always. For me I think the biggest thing that I learned in the last two years was to apply facial products on top of slightly wet skin, especially hyaluronic acid. Neutrogena makes a fragrance free body lotion made with hyaluronic acid and you can use the entire gigantic bottle all over your face including your eye area and that’s an amazing savings! I also like a Trader Joe’s products I don’t know if you have that in Australia I live in America. They have a facial cleanser that’s pretty nourishing and light non-irritating. I also like their hyaluronic acid serum and they have a sunscreen facial lotion it’s a moisturizing face lotion called enrich, it’s only SPF 15 but I love it I always use it as a topper after other sunscreen with more SPF and it works great around the eye area and never irritates my eyes. Speaking of the area I recently started using Aviene tinted compact spf 50. It’s tinted a little dark for me however I use it under the eye area and it works amazing as a sun protection and concealer and it has a SPF 50 and it’s made with zinc oxide which helps with my styes near my eyes because I have very sensitive eye area. Another brand I really like is Andalou, it’s all natural organic skin care and very affordable. I particularly like the SPF 30 facial serum. I also really enjoy Neutrogena healthy skin face lotion with alpha hydroxy acid’s, and a sascylic acid toner for sensitive skin by like clean and clear, and I am quite fond of kiehls ultra facial cream especially in the winter and then good old Vaseline can work for a few spots here and there in the winter.

Love the video and thank you for the recommendations! I saw some Fresh brand products (a French company I found a couple of years ago at Sephora), which I just LOVE--especially the Sugar Face Scrub, which is like pure strawberries that you will lick off your lips as you use it. I am also a big fan of Dr Hauschka, particularly their Cleansing Milk, which is creamy but not thick. I have tried many other cleansers, and I always go back to this one. If anyone out there is scent sensitive at all, I highly recommend Dr H products. Not the cheapest but high quality and not unduly expensive.

I can’t live without Lancôme products, and once in a year lapari( because it’s expensive )😎but I would like to share my mom’s experience, she is 72 and her skin is amazing, every morning and night she cuts 2 big vitamins capsules that I take with my breakfast 🙈vitamin E and A She believes they do magic on skin and she is right. I can’t do this because they are oily and I always make my hair oily by them, but if someone can be professional as my mom, I think it’s really work.😇👍

coucou frédérique, mais oui tu arrives à lire sans tes lunettes hahhaha, super ta routine, je te conseille d'utiliser après ton nettoyage peau, une essence (j'utilise une essence depuis au moins 3 mois), l'essence permet de décupler tous les soins que tu mettras par la suite, serum etc. j'ai découvert cette routine grace aux coreennes . j'utilise l'essence lancome "hydrazen" certe un peu cher mais on doit juste mettre une pompe pour tout le visage donc assez économique. merci pour cette video

Try to train yourself to sleep on your back. I think when we sleep on side, that eye tends to get more puffy holding the fluids.

Hi. Where are your reddened areas? Are these areas covered by the mask? It could be that particular brand is causing an irritation. I suggest to wear a mask only once and wash your face RIGHT AFTER you take it off. I used to work at Sephora, Ann’s I helped many clients with the same complaints: redness with little pimples. One young woman had a dermatologist for a father, and he didn’t figure it out: her problem was caused by her hockey mask, so I advised her to carry make up removing sheets with her, and to wipe her face and the mask as soon as she finished playing. I hope this helps.
