I've always been amused by the whole "French Pharmacy" mystique because in my country all the French brands have been available for decades in boring, unglamorous local drugstores and nobody has ever thought of it as "a beauty secret". It is also precisely "chemicals", but personally, I have nothing against chemicals that work. I suppose, though, that this video is rather old because currently indie, quirky, 2-ingredient skincare is all the rage.

🥰I like how thoughtful your words are. ❤️This is an old video and it was groundbreaking when this video came out because there never used to be any much insight on what lifestyle could be like in Paris especially through the perspective of someone like Jeanne also there were usually not many English translations. This is why I appreciate Jeanne, Caroline de Maigret, Camille Rowe because they kinda « let people in » by sharing real insight about what people usually only idéalisé. 💕

I guess it's because these brands are European and seem forgein to the Americans. Actually, where I live it's the other way around. Brands like Avene, Klorane, La Roche are used everyday, so I didn't think it was anything special before I started looking up French skincare. While brands like The Ordinary, Fenty, Mario Badescu, Lush, The Body Shop and so on are viewed as more glamorous and exciting.

I got that dry shampoo in Switzerland, I thought it was the worst dry shampoo that I ever used...but i've only used 4...my least fav...by far

It depends on your hair. Every one has different type of hair and it reacts differently to the stuff you put on. I find Klorane dry shampoo works quite well on my hair but it is quite pricey here. I use Batiste which is the number one bestseller in UK and you can find it in every high street chemist. Another good value dry shampoo is Colab which smells delicious and does not leave white residue but somehow not that easy to find. Try different ones until you find a brand that suits your hair and stock up on it.

I agree. Horrible. The only dry shampoo that has ever truly worked for me is Living Proof. I will never again trust dry shampoos that say they don't leave white residue because we need that white residue to actually absorb the oil. I've thrown away whole new cans because I spray and spray and it's just as oily as before.

💕That might be a Rouje Jules top from and older season but the Aldo Top also has a similar cut. The Jules tops are mostly out of stock but your best bets are places like ,Depop, Vinted and Vestiere for most older season Rouje pieces. Hope that helps ❤️☺️

Peu importe, elle faisait juste semblant d'utiliser ces produits sur son visage. Elle s'est frotté le visage avec un coton-tige sec et a frotté la crème avec ses mains sèches. Mais ça a l'air magnifique !

Elle est mignonne mais que c'est lisse, politiquement correct et consensuel ce qu'elle dit, on va la retrouver entièrement refaite de partout dans quelques années quand elle va vieillir. On ne la reconnaitra plus du tout physiquement et on se souviendra qu'elle disait qu'il fallait être naturel avec nos défauts si charmants ! La marque rouje au niveau qualité, c'est une catastrophe, mes chaussures BATA que ma mère m'achetais plus jeune durait plus longtemps que les rouje qui se sont décollées dès les premiers pas avec.

Alors par contre, les produits de pharmacie sont pleins de produits chimiques... A éviter si on cherche du naturel. Ce n'est pas parce que c'est vendu en pharmacie que c'est bon pour la santé. Par exemple, les crèmes Laroche Posay ou Nuxe sont très mal notées sur certains sites qui analysent les compositions.

Pourquoi ne pas utiliser une eau micellaire ou antipollution pour se nettoyer le visage plutôt qu'un démaquillant. Je pense que c'est plus doux pour la peau.

L'eau micellaire est extrêmement chimique et nocive. Pour ces raisons, elle doit se rincer - ou s'oublier ! Jeanne Damas est ravissante, mais visiblement COMPLETEMENT incompétente en matière de skincare... Ensuite, malgré ce qu'affirme Jeanne Damas, l'eau micellaire ne démaquille pas. J'offre mon salaire à la première qui parvient à ôter son mascara avec de la Créaline ! :) Utilisez, Linda, un démaquillant doux (qui restera de toute façon peu de temps sur votre peau), avant d'en éliminer toute trace à l'aide d'un cleanser également doux. Des marques comme "Pai" ou "Ren" sont parfaites. Si le visage n'est pas maquillé, le cleanser seul suffit pour éliminer pollution, sueur, sébum et poussières.

@@VicBeretton82 Merci de ne pas faire de la désinformation et de bien vouloir se taire quand vous n'avez, visiblement pas, de base en ingénierie cosmétique. Une eau micellaire contient un tensio actifs appeller PEG polyéthylène glycol auxquels ont ai venu greffer des glycérides qui donnera le PEG-6 caprylic glycérides, un tensio actifs très doux et gras, bien plus que les tensioactif contenus dans les nettoyant de base. Se qui fait que l'eau micellaire est l'un des nettoyant les plus proche du PH de la peau (environ 5.5, le PH de la peau varie de 4.70 à 5.75 environ.) L'eau micellaire convient à des peaux qui ne se maquille pas beaucoup, et également au peaux qui se delipide vite (même avec certains laits démaquillant dit "doux") je pense à certaines peaux atopique dont la barrière est fine et fragile. Où encore à ceux qui désir un nettoyant doux pour le matin où le soir en première étape d'un double nettoyage quand ont ne se maquillle pas. Donc je suis d'accord sur le faits que se n'est pas l'idéale si ont se maquillle beaucoup. Le seule truc un peut nocif pour l'épiderme avec l'eau micellaire c'est l'abus de coton et de ne pas la rincer (comme TOUT produits contenant en majorité des tensioactif...) c'est pas sa composition en elle-même qui est nocif, la vous avez tout faux aller vous éduquer sur sujet. 👌🏻
