Love your sweet cat. Thanks for rescuing her. Pets make a house a home with their endless devotion. A stray Tuxedo tomcat came to our back door 10 years ago and it is the best thing that ever happened to us. We love him to Pluto and back. I didn't know I needed a cat, but my life has been totally blessed by him.

Hello Ms. Marloes, Bonjour! Thank you for sharing your home and your creative process. Many years ago I was in Europe, in August, and it was my understanding that much of Europe shuts down in August. People go on holiday, they slow down and enjoy the gifts and bounty summer has to offer. I'm not sure if that is still the sentiment in Europe or in France, but the time away from the country house makes so much sense. Thank you for sharing some of your holiday. Tigrette is gorgeous!! 💚I really enjoyed the video - up until the point where you said you really don't like cats and that they scare you which I don't understand at all. The entire cat population is my best friend!! Glad you made an exception for Tigrette, as she seems very contented. I have 31 cats in my family and only one chicken named Uma left (the other 3 have passed away over the years). I would eventually like to adopt some more chickens as they are good company as are the cats and they get along just fine. Love the curious cows in the video too! 💛

Another lovely , beautiful video. I love your vision and your goals your simpler and calm approach to designing your home and making it so comfortable. I love the story of your cat. Picking queen annes lace ( wild carrot) along the roadside speaks to me. I do this. Riding a bike picking flowers that is heavenly. For all the many things I grow I think my favorite is armfuls of white cupcake cosmos and QAL. I love how they dance in the breeze as the pollinators pass through. Have a wonderful week.

Love your heartfelt calming vids. Thanks for sharing how the cat claimed you. Cats are major guardians and transmute negative energies constantly. Mine has conversations with other beings that are invisible to me. Throughout my life even though I haven't had very many animals and years without I ended up with invisible cats. Visitors would ask, do you have a cat when I did not have one in a body suit at the time. LOL 😻

You both have worked so hard, which has certainly paid off, on your home. It's so beautiful, restful, and pastural. It's good to take the time to love it, to appreciate all you and Olaf have achieved for your family. Taking on what feels to be too much, more of a working farm would create that overwhelm you were talking about. That would be counter intuitive with your restful looking space. I know there is so much work to do everyday without taking on MORE. Another cottage/cabin will be nice and the garden... both of which will hopefully be less consuming as all the rest of your beautiful projects since, I assume they will be smaller projects. You both have gained so much experience in the last few years, you will hopefully sail through it! Take the time to enjoy!

Thank you! The dress is H&M but from 4 years ago… I don’t like shopping so I have a few favorite places I always turn to; H&M, Zara and Mango. Yes all fast fashion but when you’re tall and you hate shopping it is nice to have a few go to addresses where getting nice fitting outfits is easy and quick 😇

1 Hectare is 10.000m2. Ha gebruiken we in Nederland. 1 acre =4 046.85642 m2 en wordt gebruikt in Frankrijk. Een Franse acre staat gelijk aan vier vergées of 50 ares.
