She had incredible genetics. For 74/75 she was mentally and physically in unbelievable shape. The car crash at age 85 which near killed her, and resulted in multiple strokes was the reason for the downfall in latter years.

I met Joan and her husband Edgar at Spago's in West Hollywood, while celebrating my college graduation dinner with friends. She was incredibly nice and very sincere while talking with me. Informed her I actually had tickets to her late night talk show, and to speak with someone once I was there. A few weeks later, went to her show, spoke to the man, whose name she gave me. My ex and I ended up in the VIP seats about 10 feet from the stage, and we had a fantastic evening! I was devastated when I heard of her passing, and still miss her. It would have been a non-stop laughathon to hear her rip into TWITTLER, and all the chaos of these past 4+ years! Can you imagine what she would say? 🤣 RIP Joan, thanks for the memories! 😍

I, too, had the pleasure of meeting Joan back in 1980-81. She came into my husband’s antique shop in Caesar’s Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City. She bought a lot of beautiful antique plate ware and opera fans, gloves, etc. from the 1900s. Joan had exquisite taste. She was so nice. She invited me backstage after her performance. By far she was my favorite celebrity customer.

This was a great interview. I really liked Zsa Zsa Gabor. Despite Joan's comments in which she was trying to extract some really juicy information and in a somewhat degrading way, Zsa Zsa was able to hold her own and answer the questions with a flare of her own. Before 2010 when she broke her hip, despite being confined to a wheelchair Zsa Zsa was fully with it and did what she did or did not want to do. He frequently tried to get her to go to outings she declined heartily, back in december of '07 she was out getting her hair done the paparazzi were snapping pictures she was barking at him to hurry up and get her in the car and get out.

There was a time where Zsa Zsa was the queen of guest appearances on every show. I had 3 friends 🔙. Their names were Amy, Naomi and Diana, nicknames were (Tata, Chicky and Zsa Zsa the beautiful VA VA voom one). Only eight husbands love her. I remember when Liz Taylor passed away, it was reported by her husband on ET News she was bedridden in 2011, and was very sad. (Zsa Zsa was once married to Conrad Hilton, Luz to his son Conrad Jr).
