For valuable tuners and echo exp mats, start using them at Union Level 40 at Tacet Fields. (highly recommended, great rewards) 2. If you want to progress faster in the game and be a higher Union Level, use them whenever (not recommended, no rewards are worth using Crystal Solvents for)

Another great guide. As a UL 80 player, I agree with all of it. I echo the segment on efficiency. I highly recommend you read the character roles so you KNOW WHAT THE CHARACTER DOES. It's less important to know HOW MUCH DAMAGE someone does and more important to KNOW HOW THE CHARACTER DOES DAMAGE. Do they deal damage? Do they heal? Do they buff? Do they do coordinated attacks (aka a sub-DPS)? Because that's how you build a team. For example... 1) Jiyan (DPS), Mortefi (sub-DPS) and Verina (healer/coordinated attacks). Mortefi's liberation now gives coordinated fire (fusion) attacks to the on-filed character, and Verina is going to heal and buff that character and do coordinated attacks with her skill and liberation. Now you're going to put Jiyan on the field, buffed/supported by Mortefi and Verina, to do most of the attacking to mop up the enemies. 2) Xiangli Yao (DPS), Yinlin (sub-DPS), Shore Keeper (healer/buffer). Yinlin is going to place her doll on the field for coordinated attacks. Shorekeeper's liberation is going to buff and heal the entire team. Yinlin's electro damage boost is now going to help Xiangli Yao mop up all the enemies too. This is probably the strongest team I have built on my account. 3) Rover (havoc), Danjin (havoc damage amplifier), Baizhi (healer/coordinated attacks) - the F2P team. Baizhi is going to place her monster on the field for coordinated attacks and heal when her liberation comes up. Danjin is going to take the field and then boost Rover's Havoc damage. Rover takes the field last to unleash his/her full might. The point is NOT that you should build those exact teams, nor are those the only good teams in the game. You may not have those characters or you may not like them even if you do have them. The point is to understand how each character is contributing to the damage that the team does.

I think it's better to just go for the standard weapons banner after the discounted novice banner. Just pick Verina from the ticket if you didn't get her from the discounted banner.

I did 2 full playthroughs on ps5 and I feel like the weapon banner is the only thing people should be pulling on with standard pulls (if you are f2p). Within the next few months you can end up pulling 2 garunteed weapons and then keep the selector at lvl 45 for a future pull. The only 5 star character I can recommend getting with the selector is verina but that being said I haven't used my selector yet and I've done everything fine.

I'm new to the game and luckily got Carlotta and her weapon. Is it worth it to save afterglow coral for carlotta waveband or use them for radiant tides? For the free 5 star character, who should I still get encore + verina? Do I have to reach 2.0 map to get mats to build Carlotta or can I build her in the starter town already? Last, should I save for the next limited damage dealer to build more teams, or should I try to get Zhezhi now?

congrats! -i'd just get radiant tides for new characters UNLESS you really like carlotta and want them -would always verina, and the best dps would be encore -you can build her up till a certain point but yes i advise going to the new map, usually all the stuff she needs doesn't require that much exploration -i would get other limited 5 star dps characters UNLESS you want carlotta to be the strongest she can be and want zhezi but you don't absolutely need her Good luck!

I played a lot of wuthering waves on the beginning on PC and I have to say on PS five or version 2.0 it’s gotten a lot better now. The combat is more fluid and the quality of life changes especially you can get double drops if you do any tacet fields or challenges for example are a nice touch. Do you have any guides for endgame users? I’ve just started to get back into it since the update on PlayStation and I still have my good old meta team with Cal/Yinlin/Verona. I wasn’t sure who the new Meta teams are now but hopefully it’s not drastically changed.

Also, for end game (Tower of Adversity). You are required to run 3 teams so 3 DPS is a must but you don't have to worry since there are a lot of F2P options, one of them being Havoc MC.

Really dig the anime/genshin aesthetic of the game, plus the PGR/classic Kuro style combat in an open world rpg.. echo system kinda cool too, interesting take on the gear-gacha system.. as a follow up question, what’s best place to spend early game stamina/wage plates? Dunno if I even unlocked anything to really spend it on yet.. still progressing through main story.. in like act 5.. And secondly, what’s a pretty optimal way to earn summon currency? A kind request. Most of these apply only to players who wish to min-max. Only a few are for casuals also. It would be very useful if you could mention which is targeted for whom. When Genshin was new, most content clearers were like "dont even think about artefacts till you reach level 40. so you can get gold artefacts." I was new and thought that was the right way to do for casuals like me too and ignore artefacts early game. Well, all my characters were very week and I quit the game in a month and never reached 40 . Coz I could not beat any bosses with my level 1 artefacts. A couple of years later, I tried with a new account and levelled all of my main characters and artifacts by spending resin early game. Well, the game was much more fun and I could actually beat bosses. You can say this is a skill issue, but for me, a casual player who wanted general tips, most of the content creators "tips" were counter productive till I realised it was only for min-maxes and not for me. Amazing guide, I'm actually surprised at how convoluted and overly complicated theyve made the game. With this myriad of systems, a strange design choice if they want so many people to join and engage with its microtransactions, odd to make it so unfriendly to new players.

Hey, just a little constructive criticism/advice. (I want to preface firstly, I love the video and it's incredibly informative, so definitely keep it up.) So around @29:00 onwards you say "pretty much" a lot , I just wanted to let you know that you're using it incorrectly and unnecessarily sometimes. For instance an example of where you're using it incorrectly, is when you say: "Pretty much you will get rewards, that give you pretty much Astrites and a lot of things." the second time you say it in this quote is especially incorrect because "pretty much" means 'very nearly', so you're basically saying "it ALMOST gives you Astrites ", rather than it FACTUALLY gives you Astrites. A lot of the times you use it unnecessarily, (as in the sentence doesn't need it to be there), as it would be fine structurally without it, and make your sentences a lot more clear and concise if you don't add it in. I just thought as a native English speaker, I'd help out a little. I'm currently learning another language myself, and would want someone to tell me if I was in your position, preferably before it became a bad or permanent habit. Hope this doesn't offend you in any way. Otherwise great work. 👍

Stamina systems are frustrating sometimes. I don't mind them if it comes to resources to level characters but it becomes really bad when rng becomes a factor. Especially when grinding for gear and getting trash rolls over and over again feels rly bad

Encore is generally considered better and a safe investment. I would check KZbin videos of how they play since encore’s playstyle is pretty unique, it’s not for everyone. And welcome to the game, good luck!
