2024 ASBDA National Honor, Dr. Jack Stamp, Conductor.
The work began as a piece for flexible instrumentation, commissioned in 2020 through a consortium of schools and ensembles. As I was writing the piece I had a feeling this would make an very nice brass band work. At a little under 4 minutes the work makes a great opener or closer to a concert.
