Frankie De Jong is kind of hot looking man! Juve did pretty good in terms of pressing the back 4 or 3 of Ajax, but this guy is something else, so simple and elegant in handling complex situation, very intelligent one two touches of the ball, boom either a long diagonal pass or a short pass to players with less pressure and larger space.

It’s hard to qualify for Champions League for Dutch teams because they have to go through qualifier rounds first. The chances of them developing to their full potential aren’t as big. Ronaldo is trying to pressure a lot in Ajaxs half, yelling for a midfielder (Pianic ) to go pressure the only short option ajax had in that clip. It does seem like Allegri wanted to wait and pressure the ball when the start to get into Juventus' half but if that's the case Ronaldo and Allegri we're not on the same page.

(though not by that much and they created very little from their dominant position). After the first goal / in the second half they stopped pressing like this (it does take a lot of energy, Ajax has won plenty of games in the second half exactly like this) and Ajax got to play the game they want; have a relatively easy build up until about the middle line, then pass around and look for chances through offensive creativity.

His midfielders would have been neither here nor there and caught out by the time De Jong receives the ball if they listened to Cristiano.

He needs to make more forward passes. He made a million passes yet most of them were no more than 5 yards. He needs to make more line breaking passes. He is a good talent but no where near Xavi.
