Game 3 of the 2022 Celtic/Bucks series was the first time I think I may have seen the method behind Adam Silver's madness when it come to rigging games. Not saying that I can predict his games yet(if ever), but I may at least be getting an idea of Silver's philosophy. The referees gave the Celtics a lot of help that game, but they would switch and go the Bucks' way at critical moments instead of helping the Celtics actually win. It turns out they apparently were just keeping the game close, not actually favoring the Celtics like I thought. Yet it was so close that the Celtics could have won if the ball broke differently, so it seems the actual outcome was something they were willing to risk. Not that keeping scores close is anything new, but that particular game just sort of highlighted for me how Silver is more complex and has multiple goals within the same game/series. I feel like Silver's games are starting to make some kind of sense to me now.

You can clearly see the direction the league is going in , lebron joins the lakers and last year kyrie was traded to boston. The warriors will lose KD this summer to give the Lakers the chance to reach the finals. As for KD we’ve heard that the knicks are the frontrunner so expect KD to join the knicks next summer. My view on that is a little controversial, I guess, because I don't think that the call was all that egregious as people make it out to be. Pippen did appear to make some contact on the shot. Maybe not something that would normally be called in the final seconds, but not a completely made-up foul and Hubert Davis sold it well enough. But, two things can be true at the same time. Did they want the Bulls to lose? I don't know. Possibly. It would make sense. I think it's a very plausible theory.

What do you mean by "in general 90's defense is much more physical"? Does it means physical defense is not equivalent to good defense.?
@TheRiggedBA5 жыл бұрын
Not much more physical, but I think I was referring to a couple of years in the 90s where the officiating had gotten lax rather than the 90s as a whole, vs a couple years in the 00s where they briefly tightened the officiating. But as far as physical defense vs good defense, when people say "physical" they often really mean dirty. Playing dirty defense typically means the defense is actually bad, so you're forced to foul out of desperation to try to stop someone. If you can actually defend, you typically don't need to resort to such things to try to keep up.

What's your opinion on the foul over jabbar what meant the ring for the Lakers instead of the first one for the detroit bad boys? I have not watched all the videos and I am not sure if you talk about it, but, in case not: what I have seen is that you "claim" Iverson was somehow hated by the lobby of the nba lets say (correct me if I am wrong), then, why would you say he was able to carry on the ball without getting it call? Even more, it became normal, and carry the ball is now allow and rarely called. (Allow carry to Iverson I would say it was to created a new superstar, but as you say he was dislike by stern, and I dont know if change the interpretation of the carry rule was worthit for another star being able to enhance other potebtial star despite Iverson cult which would have gave him a relevance even with the proper carry rule. And know I think, the proper carry call, can be use as a way to change some atacks as it could always be called because of how the ballhandling has developed due to the permission of the carry in the early 2000s, then, is another tool to rigg games but this is on a into the rules frame lets say), so whats your opinion on that. And to end, why do you think it is not so spoken about the removal of the illegal defense for zone defence, or to explain the question better, whats your point on the lack of considerarion of the zone defence rule, it is clarely the most important change in modern basketball as the three point line was alreasy there, and noone talks ever about it neither to compare eras, players or to explain what happens with the defences today, however, why would you say the hand checking removal was so talked about instead? Lastly quick ones, why michael jordan and not other? ( I assume you are on the ones to believe the baseball season was due to a bann of stern who didnt want to ruin the image of the league's face, but thats another conplicated topic) And why now despite the incorporation of the zone offense has skyrocket, is due to the rest of rules despute of the importance of the zone? And relates with the last one how is possible players now score more than before? As i said due to the rules that has again change in bebefit for the offense? It was all until offense readjust as in the 2000s and 2010s we didnt see such super highscores a combination of both? I hope the comment is well written and understandable, hope you can answer it. ["What's your opinion on the foul over jabbar what meant the ring for the Lakers instead of the first one for the detroit bad boys?"] I don't know much about it. ["Iverson was somehow hated by the lobby of the nba lets say (correct me if I am wrong), then, why would you say he was able to carry on the ball without getting it call?"] Being hated doesn't mean you can't get away with things. He was still a popular player to the paying fans. ["And know I think, the proper carry call, can be use as a way to change some atacks as it could always be called because of how the ballhandling has developed due to the permission of the carry in the early 2000s, then, is another tool to rigg games but this is on a into the rules frame lets say), so whats your opinion on that."] Well, in the referee scandal, Tim Donaghy offered film evidence that referees would fix games against Iverson by randomly enforcing or overenforcing the carry rule against him when they wanted to. ["And to end, why do you think it is not so spoken about the removal of the illegal defense for zone defence...whats your point on the lack of considerarion of the zone defence rule...noone talks ever about it neither to compare eras, players or to explain what happens with the defences today, however, why would you say the hand checking removal was so talked about instead?"] A couple of reasons, but mainly because zone defense wasn't allowed when Michael Jordan played for the Bulls. Zone makes defense makes scoring harder. So, they don't talk about zone because they want to present Jordan era defense as the best in order to keep promoting Jordan as the greatest of all time. If you talk about zone, you basically admit that Jordan era defense wasn't as good as modern defense, and the media wants to avoid that. So, they just never speak of it and basically act like it's not happening.

When you say you're certain the bulls would lose in 93 and 98 are you referring to the nba finals or one of the rounds before that?
@TheRiggedBA Жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure the Knicks would have beat them in 1993 when New York jumped ahead 2-0. And I think in 1998 the Pacers dominantly beat the Bulls in 5 games if the series wasn't rigged. Maybe 6 games tops if the Bulls steal one with a "heart of a champion" performance, but Chicago would have had to play above themselves to win another one against Indy that particular year. *edit:* And even if they survived an 0-2 hole against the Knicks in 1993, I don't think they would have had enough left to beat the Suns. So the answer would be both in '93.

@TheRiggedNBA why does the media support the narrative that the NBA was better or tougher in the old days, if they're trying to sell tickets today? Love your vids but this still perplexing me
@TheRiggedBA6 жыл бұрын
Well part of it is Jordan marketing. Notice how they never apply the "older=automatically better" logic to pre-Jordan times. It randomly is only used for the Jordan years. But it's also just the natural tendency to romanticize your own time. Most major media members today either grew up or had their careers take off in the 90s and early 80s, so they'll be inclined to view that time as the best. So even if you're trying to sell tickets, it would be hard to not reflexively speak better of your own era.

Please make more videos. Unlike most people on you tube or the shit sports casters who happen to be former players/former year players get payed to say, unless Basketball fucks up your head more than getting bulldozed in the head like football you actually provide legitimate evidence and explanation of how things actually work or could even work. Especially with regards ro Rule changes etc. And the obvious intentional bad/rigged calls that obviously go on to make the game More entertaining at least, and I’m guessing on some level more marketable for more $. It’s like I’ve been watching the NFL pretty thoroughly for the past 23 seasons, I’m only 29. I have a very good memory of how things are called and much of my life have read the rulebook and changes every year. Sometimes, I can’t say exactly why for certain without speculating why exact calls are particularly made. But obviously there are a lot of calls if for nothing else to increase ratings, and drama, that just frankly have never been called that way, it was never in the Rule’s, it’s not im congruence with all the more ridiculous rules aimed at “Player safety.” Oh and like Jordan fandom fouls it’s just so bad on some calls that come to mind past few weeks it’s like I’m actually surprised they wouldn’t be worried making penalty calls on that sort of shit on those particular plays. And the best part is I know it’s coming, and cynically snicker as time is running down for instance in recent Chargers Seahawks game, one play left half the field to go, basically the only way seahawks could possibly tie is a pass interference call. If I’m a coach I’m telling my players just not to get near any downfield receiver while ball is in the air or do anything thar looks like touching them and just stand like 7 guys in the end zone because the way the rigged BA or NFL is they will call pass interference if you look like you could possibly be touching a receiver before ball is deflected or just is most likely deopped by receiver... basically they did that. Seahawks chucked ball into endzons and their player Ran into a chargers defender in the end zone obviously not being able to catch a ball close to them if you consider the same side of field close or catchable. Seahawks had ball on one and whiffed on touchdown. That entire drive with no timeouts and no time on clock basically, I was waiting for pass interference to be called. Wasn’t surprised bur hell, running into a defender that doesn’t need to srop you from catching ball because it’s no wear close and calling that defensive pass interference.. was surprised because like, that isn’t the rule, never been the rule and can’t be interfering with a catch when dude is no where near ball and not trying to catch, can’t even be illegal contact or hold On defense when you are stationary and a receiver just jumps into you in a way that makes harden maybe trying to get contact for a foul comical because it’s just that bad. Like I understood the zebras would do something like that, but on a play where it’s like the penalty could be on the offense for obvious reasons like that’s not even a bad call. It’s a rigged call and why would you want people reaaaaallly clearly seeing they basically blew the flag becUse they were gonna give seattle the ball on the one. Or I forget. No it was packers patriots. Guess they really wanted to push this tim brady Goat thing because they gave him a new set if downs on a fourth and 18 for roughing the punter in greenbay? Even the “rules” analyst ever network has to mostly explain how the rigging is actually the rules and proper call. But the guy was blocked into the punter and barely touched him. Running into punter would be really questionable flag.They gave a 15 yard roughing the punter call which frankly has never been rule ans isn’t now for bing blocked into punter, trying to avoid them and barely touching them. Patriots won game over that... But Please continue to explain all the made up bullshit they pay Dorris Burke or former players to say om tv or in games like how hand checking rules are why you can’t bully or play in the post like shaq or other bizarre shit that makes no sense. Ppl need to hear it because obviously the NBA and people they pay to analyze and know the game will continue to just make up these whacky narratives that have nothing to do With reality and people will think scoring in the post as a big is harder or they aren’t physical enough or some crazy shit I hear them spout because Hand checking and physicality existing “unchecked” before which it didn’t would explain the lack of dominant offensive players on the low Block vs, like stan van gundy says you can brick up paint for most of this century.

Can you do a video about drugs in the NBA, is it true that LBJ is on enhancer pills?

It's not something I know about or have ever looked into really.

Nice to see your back riggedba. It would be nice to see you touch on Lebron Rigged career as well from the start.The so called "king" was handpicked by the media to be the next one after MJ. Cover all grounds. "Prezone" Era best Basketball Player was Mahmoud abdulRauf. Zone era is Steph Curry. The point of the game is t shoot.No other players are better then these two at shooting in nba history.Lebron would not be king if Lenny Cooke was chosen by the media instead.

I think the point is that lebron isn’t as handpicked as MJ

@NewEarth Son No reasonable person denies Lebron gets some degree of star treatment too, but think about it: the monetary reward of helping Jordan win was way higher (relative to the next guy up/adjusted for league value in era) and risk is way higher helping LeBron win because of much greater chance of exposure due to social media, the fact that it's more profitable to keep the status quo that Jordan was the GOAT, and the league is not as dependent on LeBron actually winning to drive growth/revenues. Plus, while LeBron clearly gets his share of favoritism, he also has plenty working against him due to how difficult he is to officiate (combined with other already said factors). So not sure it goes with the narrative that the NBA manufactures the MJ Goat narrative to do the same LeBron. The "conspiracy theories" mostly have to due with officiating tendencies and front office decisions to boost revenue. Not forcing the Cavs to pick LeBron straight out of hs #1 in the draft. (This likely means he was about 2-3 years more advanced than MJ) He could however make a video about star favoritism or market favoritism in general, or also why Lebron doesn't get the same treatment MJ gets either because MJ is more monetarily valuable orguards get more star-treatment than bigger players.

@@TheRiggedBA Video of Kobe schooling LeBron: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJSwpYuhgZl6q5Y LeBron can’t guard Kobe Video of Kobe locking LeBron’s ass up: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnOTf6OimNl8edk “That motherfucker can’t score on me.” - Kobe Bryant Closest thing we have to LeBron and Jordan since you say him and Kobe are the same. Kobe is better than LeBron and he abused him whenever they match up. Skill, one of Kobe’s best aspects of his game, over size, which is all LeBron has. No moves. Peak MJ would average 45 points per matchup against LeBron’s overrated, weak defense. And he would lock his ass down too.
@@TheRiggedBA You obviously did not watch your own video that you linked. Half of LeBron’s baskets are with Lamar Odom guarding him, not Kobe. And some of them do not even show scores, but rather flops by LeBron in order to fill the duration of the video.

The NBA Lottery will give Cleveland Zion Williamson, that garbage market will always tank without a star. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved to Vegas.

Wrong, he is going to the Knicks... People still dont realize that the Cavs got 3 number 1 picks in 4 years cuz it was scripted for LBJ to return, that is the only reason... Now that LBJ is gone, Cleveland is back to being irrelevant for a very long time..

He ended up going to New Orleans... now i believe it's undeniable that the NBA was rigged during David Stern's time as commissioner, but I feel as if it's become more unpredictable ever since Adam Silver has taken over, leading me to believe that maybe it's not as fixed anymore. Granted, the NBA is one of the largest corporations in the world so that wouldn't make sense, but idk, it just doesn't seem as scripted anymore.
