bitter o hindi... we should look at the ratio.. looking at the reasoning, here were the points stated -- synchronized & rationalized basketball calendar coordinated grassroots program -- including more focus on shooting having a better Gilas program in order to LESSEN the dependence on the PBA; and leaders and coaches who can create a system to which everyone will follow it seems reasonable naman tirada niya di ba? :)

WOW!!! Mula noon magpahanggang ngayon Chino Trinidad has been the only one bold enough to tell the truth! If SBP management will just be humble enough to accept the facts and realities of the current state of Philippine basketball then they should be getting rid of all their selfish agendas and also those selfish people in their ranks! Humility, Objectivity, Unity will be the keys to achieving basketball glory! So long as wrong people are in position, frustrations and failures are all there will be for this passionate basketball nation.

it's a fact that if and only we continued the Gilas 1.0 there will be a more solid unity among players. sana nga hindi na lang binuwag yung program kase nandun na eh naka bwelo na tyo. ang problem is gusto naten agad agad nandun ang result. building a solid team the way other asian team has is a very long process. we need all to be patient much more with the core of those leaders implementing this program. i hope this is a wake up call, if we still have the desire of putting a solid team in the olympic. stop palakasan system.

Yung program sa GILAS 1.0 ok po un!! kase lahat ng TEAM/CLUB sa PBL hindi naging maka-sarili kaya nakuha ung mga PBL player sa lahat ng PBL TEAM/CLUB..!! ok? Ang PROBLEMA sa GILAS 0.2 (Win.Loss) record kase ang FILIPINO kung gustong ma-promote NANINIRA ng TAO at SUMISIPSIP ok? at un ang ginawa ni CHOKE REYES Siniraan nya si Coach Rajko Toroman at Sumipsip kay MVP para makuha nya ung head Coach ng National Team besides both of them are ATENEO kaya madali nyang naloko si MVP...!!! If CHOKE REYES will be choosen again bilang head Coach ng Gilas 3.0 for sure OLATS na naman tayo kase ung D.D.O. style ni CHOKE REYES eh BASANG-BASA na nga kaya nga ang the BEST sa International Tournament pag natalo RESIGN agad isipin na ung style nya/mo eh pang Inter-Barangay nah...!!! Tama tlga si Chino Trinidad sa Developmental sa mga BATA kase puro pasikat, sakim at gusto laging babad at laging ung bola nasa magaling lang walang SYSTEMA na pinapairal or tinuturo ng mga Inter-Barangay COACHES =( =( eh kung tutuusin mo ung mga Inter-Barangay COACHES eh naglalaro din ng BASKETBALL pero wala ring SYSTEMANG naituro sa kanila kaya ASA tayo sa Rebound and Batu-Bato na lang ung BOLA (FASTBREAK)

Tama ka Sir Chino meron kang pusong pinoy na pag dating sa palarong pambansa..cheers up....ang inisip ng mga tao yung naging paborito nilang mang lalaro...Hindi nila naisip kung gaano kalakas ang magiging kalaban nila sa laro...Isipin nalang natin ang America USA ...Milyung n\milyung taon na sila nag lalaro sa NBA ...Natatalo pa ng mga taga ibang Bansa...Kung Minsan Peraa pera lang ang labanan dito sa atin sa PBA...

oo maaring gusto nga ng karamihan na ibalik ang Gilas 1... pero meron rin silang ibang career na gustong tahakin... gusto rin nila maging pro players...hindi na rin kaya ng iba na maglaro lamang para sa Pilipinas dahil kailangan rin nilang kumita ng pera... gaya nga ng sinasabi palagi ni Pingris, "walang pong malaking pera sa pakikipaglaban naming ito." ang problema is issue na noon kung meron pa nga bang mga players na magtutuloy sa Gilas 1 dahil karamihan kila Casio, etc. gusto na rin nilang maging pro at tumatanda na rin sila...

Hmm, maybe we should remind Chino that under his leadership, the then Harbour Center dominated the league and the competition between the teams inside the PBL was basically destroyed. And what happened to the PBL now after he left (or is that the reason he left?) How did that happen? He allowed the strong college players to concentrate in one team (HC) without giving the other teams any chance to win championship. And then the decline happens because only HC was winning. Hindi na exciting manood ng PBL dahil dyan. And here he is. always saying binuwag "namin", tinalo "namin" na parati sia ang bida... kakahiya. nag bubuhat ng sariling bangko. Just my 2 cents on this interview.
