Priests are one of the fastest levelers. With the wand spec if you upgrade your wand properly, and focus on intel/spirit gear, you'll never stop to drink. Such an underrated leveler even in 2024

I will say that I have never levelled priest, I have played most classes but not everything. It probably would have been more accurate to call it a medium levelling speed maybe?

@dwarflord On a tier list it's definitely A tier, not quite S tier like Mages, Hunters and Warlocks obviously, but it's a solid A tier. For example i even leveled my priest slightly faster than my Druid. It's a little more boring to level, but definitely a fast leveler.

I'd say Priest is medium to fast levelling speed rather than slow. There is a lot to be said for not having to stop to drink, wands are amazing early and by the time they fall off dungeon levelling will carry.

Would like to know if the uncapped debuff limit changes the viability of Affliction Warlock in raid or are they still curse bots and summoners?

siphon life is a dps loss and your raid will probably require you to use a utility curse rather than agony. the only upside to the debuff limit removal is that you are guaranteed able to put corruption up (which is allegedly still a dps loss in the later phases) and if your raid comp isn't tryhard and you have an abundance of lock then you can run agony and parse (assuming it's even a dps gain in later phases. i think it's definitely good early on especially because your tank needs a few globals to secure aggro and just shadowbolting out of the gate is likely to pull threat)

dual spec won't be out right away. no word on when it comes out or how much gold it will cost to unlock (it cost 1000g in TBC). that being said, you do not need to spec deep holy to heal dungeons

I mean mages are the obvious first choice and for good reason. You get to 60 in 3 days played, you can instantly farm 50 raw gold/hour even in a new realm with suboptimal gear and thus bankroll any and all of your future alts. Mages are also making an easy 100g/h just afking in Kargath in P1. Also, even if you just have 1 account, you can still give yourself free portals to make leveling alts significantly faster.

@@user-bs6ln3ns4u It depends on a multitude of factors. Essentially, if you're not going to play this game like your life depends on it, then any other class is fine to start with. Rolling a mage requires you to dedicate yourself to the game to really get ahead of the pack so that you can dominate the open world AOE locations by yourself. If you're playing less than 5 hours a day, then rolling a rogue first is very sensible. They're one of the best gold farming classes early on as well, as they can either just pick pockets and coffers in BRD or farm the 5 chest spawns (and pockets) in SM very efficiently for raw gold. The question "what class to choose first" is ultimately just a subject for min-max theorizing. Sure, you can gain a slight advantage by working out every mathematically perfect solution to the game, but ultimately games are designed for you to have fun. If those min-maxing equations require you to follow a completely rigid and extremely demanding schedule to achieve your desired outcome, then you're really not going to have fun -- no matter what kind of a personality you have. "Getting ahead" is always torture. Just do what you want, man.

@@miskee11 arlaeus had a video back in the day of his level 40 mage soloing the entire ZF graveyard by using the wall jump method. So basically you can just go any spec that helps you quest or spellcleave dungeons up to 40-42ish and then solo ZF all the way to 54 at which point you are either far enough ahead to have plaguelands to yourself or you can spellcleave BRD.

I never got to play vanilla started in tbc and ive been a Prot Warrior main tank since tbc all the way into cata funny how they say its the worst tank in the game but ive Main tanked every single boss on heroic including LK Nef ect but im excited to finally play prot warrior where its actully the best tank (also love feral and since im gunna play pvp server idk what to do) do I just play feral and bear tank or since im GM anyway do I go Warrior an get the 1st thunderfury I just enjoy world pvp so kinda nervous because it cost alot to spec change and prot warrior in pvp isnt exactly a thing

Warrior can farm devilsaur as well. You just need to fear and use bandages. There might be another trick to it as well but I remember farming the leather to pay for my epic mount on my fresh warrior back in 2019.

The only thing about mage that is conflicting me is the aoe farm and the portals, warlocks are slow travelers but they just look great in their dreadsteed.
