Love Tomatoe Pie! I never heard about it until I moved to the south. Here they have the first layer as a mix of mayo/cr cheese and herbs and some use a bit of mustard. It is just delicious. I love your idea of the bacon in the crust. Definitely going to try that!!!

I'm totally making this for my son when he stops at mom's this week to be fed after work , lol...My garden tomatoes are doing super this summer, too. Ohio weather has been good to my garden. You've outdone yourself on this simple Tomato Pie! I will try and give you a review! Love to you! I'm doing better after my heart deal but taking it easy. Did get over 100 jars canned before the ER visit! Hard way to find out you are allergic to nutmeg/mace! But, you can't keep a good woman down. I'm back at it too!

Also, I'm sorry I didn't find what temperature & how long you baked the pie? I rewound the video but I just couldn't find it, I knew you blind baked the pie, without beans, for 8 minutes 400°?
