Beautiful looking backyard, golden nugget are a nice early pumpkin but have one of the best shelf life I’m a big fan of cape gooseberry or Peruvian ground cherry as called in the us. Little delicious parcels I had 50mm in 30 mins yesterday

@@cooltemperategardeninginca3288 😂lol The one in vid when u said was the golden nugget, it’s a ‘determinate’ variety not sprawling out I have at least 3 of them every year I like their properties so much I had a red alert from weather app lightning within 15km and hail, luckily hail was very brief, sparse and only 8mm Forgot to mention the graft is looking very nice 👍

Good to know about the determinate info. I usually plant Kent and butternut, but bought up this year and have the usual two plus: golden nugget, sweet dumpling, small sugar, musquee de Provence, QLD blue and volunteers (spaghetti squash). I’ll recognise the larger varieties, but might need to google a photo of the smaller ones to know what I’m harvesting.
