G'day. Ohhh, I like these. I'm doing ok with the birds on my raspberries, however... They will be great for some of my peaches, apples etc, that have grown a bit too far back on the branch and my existing exclusion bags can't reach. Great job with the shade cloth too. Very clever. Really good video to learn from. Thanks very much for that. All the best. Daz.

Thanks Daz 😊. Do you get coddling moth on your apples? If so, how do you deal with it?

Ugh! Pests messing with the raspberries is bad enough…….but it’s worse when they mess with the precious blueberries 🤯

Nice, I like your homemade bag idea, good to make some custom size and shape ones with it

Thanks Neil. I also used some of the roll to make a cover for the brassicas (to protect from the white cabbage butterfly).

They are like plant socks lol. So awesome that you made custom bags in green. Those look way better.

Haha. Plant socks. I’m going to remember that when I put them on with the plastic bag shoe-horn in a few weeks 😂

Thats great. Ive used tree limb bags before but hadnt seen something like this. Where did you get them? The link would be good to have as I hope to go back into berries soon. The demo was helpful in looking at getting some in anticipation.😀

From the Seed Collection. www.theseedcollection.com.au/Fruit-Protection-Sleeve I haven’t used the sleeves on the blueberries yet (I used plain netting this year) but will try them next year. I watched your tomato sauce video again tonight and made a modified version in accordance with the produce I had available. So good. Thanks for sharing the recipe 🙌

Looks good, I used the organza bags last year too. We get fruit fly so I need to get them to close on both ends

@@cooltemperategardeninginca3288 oh yes, be afraid be very afraid!! Last year I used two organza bags on most apples and the tree was netted. Fighting a fruit fly x mice coordinated attack!

Quite cumbersome to use but it keeps your fruits safe.

Fortunately we get a lot of birds in the garden. But unfortunately they eat most of the fruit 🤨
