For those here that wanna take this sound damping stuff on the floor out - use dry ice. James Deane did this in one of his last videos and it works like a charm! You don't have to hammer it out like a Maniac, just spread the ice on the damping and wait til it freezes. You will be able to take the damping out in one piece almost

I recommend checking out the fire safety stick (regional naming may vary). They disperse for way longer, smaller, lighter and don't leave any powder/residue behind and still work on most types of fire.

Make up a thin stainless or alloy skid plate/rocker cover to go over the oil lines, will protect them from sharp objects and and curbs etc 👍

Paint is hammered, now is the time to try stuff. Primer the roof white, and throw down a single green offset rally stripe and the car will look dope till you decide what you like for sure. (Pro hack tip, most paint stores can put color matched paint in spray cans!!)

Yeah ,unfortunately this channel is about quick "content" and "looks good at this moment" not about proper repairs so that floor will be rotten through in couple years. After all he'll use it as a disposable track car, so don't expect any miracles.

@@theoriginaljoke3.148 Not all of it. Most of the brown stuff is indeed just old glue, but there were certain paint less spots with surface rust. Those should be properly cleaned and painted. You can see them clearly at passenger foot wells from 12:10 to 12:25

My favorite Hoonigan car. I like all the mods Vin has done except I'm having a hard time with the dimpled panel. That reflective panel is a center peice for 911 and it doesn't look right to me. But I do love that car!

lol yo the return of the gold tape. If you still have stock head lights and they are fogged my suggestion is to resto them with some water sanding, I detail and I personally like Chem.Guys they have a light resto kit.

Honestly, you should have a fire-extinguisher in every car you have. You never want to be in a situation where you wish you had an extinguisher and most of us spend a lot of time in or close to our cars. The same goes for blankets.

theres some great threads on pelican how to fix your crushed oil lines. Which you should do because they cool much better than braided lines. also that back seat sound deadening weighs 40lbs

By going to soft oil lines you lose a surprising amount of oil cooling capacity. The brass lines are a significant portion of the surface area used for oil cooling. Elephant racing makes some finned oil lines that improve it even further. You can also repair those original crushed lines with some heat and air pressure.
