I hate helmets but I still wear one. Falling at my age (near 50) really sucks and I can’t even imagine recovering from a head injury. I picked up an ABUS helmet recently that I’m happy with. Also you’re going to have to tell me where I can get an “olderblader” shirt. That’s hysterical!

Totally agree with you about wearing a lid for skating - knowing several people with TBIs, brain injuries are no joke. I'll do what I can to avoid them. Plus lids like this show helmets don't have to look super goofy or cost a ton for one that looks decent!

I got a new helmet a couple months ago, and the ventilation holes are bigger than my current one. It's made a pretty big difference but it doesn't do much for the ridiculous amount of sweat I produce lol. This helmet looks pretty good, and bonus that it's MIPS certified. Excellent video, as always ✌🏾✌🏾

Great review and groovy skating as always. May I ask, what size you went with and what size you normally wear in hats (fitted caps)? I ordered a large of the original skateboard helmet and usually wear a (7 1/8) in caps. I used their measurement chart, so, I'm hoping I chose wisely and won't have to exchange it upon arrival.
