Jeff Fredette is the man. I had an 05 220 built completely by him. From the engine to the suspension. These bikes are tanks and take whatever you throw at them. Kind of regret selling it lol.

I had a 2006 kdx 200 with pro circuit pipe booyesan reeds 12th front sprocket 48 rear. I gave my friends with thier cr250s a very hard time on the trails. Best first bike I could have ever had

20 motor bike business all died in my city within the last few years. Every motocross track died too. 50% of road motorcyclists have died on the roads. Even kawasaki killed off the KDX. Still People don't realize the KDX is just a motocross racing bike that rides slightly different to the regular motocross racing bike.

Wrong. Kawasaki got frustrated with your crazy ideas and so they killed off the bike. 20 motor bike business died as a result of that and other consumer robbery scams. Now those crooks have died, suzuki ran out of money and suzuki racing is DEAD too. Admit you never asked kawasaki for a 'woods' bike, you just bought the wrong bike and abused it. Im glad you demonstrated its ability to crawl around like a four stroke without having to fuss with the clutch. Having owned one I can tell you have it dialed in clean from bottom to top. You can creep up to a log and just snap the throttle and clear it without using the clutch on those KDXs

For an great and easy bike to ride in the woods, try a 97 220 which was the first 220 year and it also got the purple seat/tank.

I had two 1984s one engine was done by Eric gorr and the other done by croch rocket factory. Crf back in the day of my youth at the time you could not get a better woods bike road the thomaston dam just about every weekend. Great bikes.

I've had a few dealings with Ken over the the last 3 years. Absolute gentleman. Had the engine on my blaster get work done from him. Sent the parts from Ireland to my cousin in Virginia who sent them to Ken. Cost me a lot more than having it done here in ireland but i wouldn't let anyone else touch it. Kens a master of his craft

Nah the shock spring should be purple as that's what's on my 96 kx but under the purple it's a blue stock spring was just coated for 1996 😁

I got one 2001kdx 200 all original great shape still has the original front tire still on it .still just like new .picked it up in Kentucky. No marks on front forks or swing arm .bottom of frame no chips or dings .a nut or bolt never been turned on it outstanding compression carb is leaking a bit other than that it's an awsome bike

I love my e2 kdx200. Best bike I’ve ever rode. It might not be the most powerful bike out there but I love showing off to guys one new husky’s and ktms on hill climbs and trails. I left mine mostly stock in appearance with what I’d consider tasteful and period correct. I don’t think I’ll ever sell it

When you finally realize It's just a motocross racing bike that is designed for endurance style riding, you might sell it. It's not designed for hill climbs. It doesn't work on trails. You'll have to approach kawasaki and request a hill climb bike and a trails bike. Endurance motocross racing bikes are designed for going round and round on motocross racing tracks .

I have 1992 KDX 200 , sweet bike. Went-thought it , and it only has maybe 5 hours on it since. Bout it new in 93 , head milled, ported and carb bored, run great. The only thing that’s not Oem is the front fender.

I've owned 4 of these little beasts...absolutely the funnest off road bikes ever!! Little suspension work if you're over 180lbs and then just ride the heck out of them...only issue now is price. Even rough examples are a grand. My good friend sold me his super clean 2006 and it's a keeper. Not as powerful as his 300xc but I smile just as much. This kdx200 will sell fast. Thank you sir for ANOTHER gem !!

Wrong. What motocross tracks do 4 hour races? You actually don't need an endurance motocross racing bike cause nobody actually does endurance motocross racing. The suspension was perfect out of the factory. You don't just thrash them. They have reduced steering performance when compared with the regular motocross racing bike. The gearing isn't as good on them.

I ride a mint all original except decals 2003 kdx 220R. Got it from a guy that had it stored dry. Great bikes, they aren’t perfect, but they do exactly what they were designed to do. My only complaint is it sits a little high, so I need to get a different spring and get the sag set. My original graphics “potato chipped” I just said Monday while watching another one of your videos that you never have a kdx.

I remember a review of one in a UK mag back in the early '90s. They extolled it as being the perfect displacement back then. It was the KMX 200 over there. I've seen a couple on CL ( D.C. ) recently for only a couple of thousand and in very good condition. I wish my wallet had been as good condition. lol. Otherwise these are real hard to find as no one wants to get rid of them.

The gold pipe is snappy , but does not have the bottom grunt like a woods pipe . In a drag my buddy with his desert pipe will make me look bad , but in the tight and slippery going with the woods pipe I’ll walk away.

You're About as conservative as a monk in an island monistary. Men were ruthless towards these poor bikes. Kawasaki extended the base purple colour slightly and men went ape shit about it. Jeez, calm down dude! Take A break and relax. You either pay for expert styling or you don't. The design professionals did watch every motocross race on TV. They watched YOUR fashion styling. They gave you a better image but you had NO fashion sense. You probably still don't look at yourself. Everyone else around planet earth was BORED with all green bikes. I was SO tired of looking at Terrible motocross fashion styling at the time. I bet the factory workers were ill looking at basic colours all the time.
