I have many Muslim friends and really enjoy finding out about your whole culture and traditions. I also try to re-create dishes that our family enjoy when we are out. Having found Latin’s inspired some time ago,I’m hooked👏🏻. I have tried many of your dishes but tweaked them accordingly to our preferences. All of our friends are from Sylhet and Shahin our friend for 20 years tells me all about how his family do the same as yours and it is so incredibly humbling and you are such special human beings, I especially love your Desi chicken Bhuna and your whole meat roasts, however I want to try and find some fish dishes that use whole fillets in a Desi style sauce.

Asalamualaikum latif I’m not sure if your aware but garam masala is haram due to containing nutmeg in it. Sunan Ibn Majah 3392 It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Every intoxicant is unlawful and whatever causes intoxication in large amounts, a small amount of it is (also) unlawful.” Therefore nutmeg will intoxicate in large amounts so a small amount is also haram. This is also the majority consensus of the scholars of ahlus sunnah wal jamaah

(in the beginning of canning vegetables ~1900 it was a common methode to make canned peas green..until people noticed that u get get poisoned and sick of it)
